    Hi,

I got one of the Intellicig starter kits about a year ago, used it for a few weeks but ended up back on the smokes :(

The e-cig sat idle for months but I decided to give it another crack about 6 weeks ago, went and bought 50 refills online but am finding that a lot of the time when I replace a refill I start getting leaks after 3 or 4 pulls on it.

I've cleaned the atomiser and connecting area on battery but it still happens a lot, it's extremely annoying and probably not too healthy getting a gob full of that stuff.

Do you folks reckon I should replace the atomiser or maybe just go with a different brand of e-cig?

One of the lads in work is using the greensmoke one which uses cartomisers and it never leaks on him, I know intellicig sell cartomisers that will work with my existing batteries but am wondering if I'd be better off just going for a different model?

    Thanks in advance
    Al

The general advice on here would be the kanger twist kit from e-smokeireland.

^^^ what he says...I tried a cig-alike about two years ago and did not come back to vaping until I tried out a friends Ego kit.....a while two years I could have been cigarette free and indulging in shinyitis...:)

As a newbie to ecigs I agree with FF & the bottom coil clearomizer & spare atomizer heads, charger will all be in the kit & don't forget to buy a bottle of 10ml of 18mg or 24mg nicotine eliquid.

From looking at the kit that FF suggested and the associated vid it looks like the iclear 16 is the better choice for a clearomizer, am wondering how long you get out of each 1.6ml refill?

I'm sure it depends on use of course but on average would you get a few days out of it?

ETA: On the e-smokeireland site, which juice would be closest to say rolling tobacco? There's loads of mad flavours on there but not sure I really want to try apple cake flavour :D

Each person will be different but coming from Rollie's I find HOL liquid from ESI to be the best, Cigarellos is my current favourite, virginia prime is not doing it for me, others will disagree, have 30ml Puros which has improved a lot after a week steeping......will try Guvera next but will also try other liquids too.....

I will say that the only bottles that empty so far have been HOL El Torres but also VIP USA from the booths in shopping centres.....have tried some healthier smoker and much as I don't like the company Their liquid is not bad at all.....cannot vape Mom & Pops at all it seems.....yet my OH quite likes it....go figure....this is why I have 17 bottles of e-liquid after 10 weeks vaping.....

My opinion is that Kanger & Ego twists & 1.6ml iclear16 are good, but I find that this setup is good for out & about walking, driving & shopping,I would call it a travelvaper. At home I would have something more powerful with a bigger tank system.
When I started vaping a few years ago,I started with a powerful mod with an output of 3.0v - 6.0v & it was excellent, back then the iclear16 type atomizers were crap,(forgotten what they were called)they leaked alot & gave out a burned taste but the cartomizes in a 6ml tank were great, only a slight leak now & again:D:D
I would start off with an inexpensive vv/vw mod which a powerful & reliable,I would suggest a Vamo http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/vv-mods/338-vamo-v5-apv-mod.html & two batteries with flat heads http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/vv-mods/187-efest-imr-battery.html
you will also need a charger http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/chargers/214-nitecore-intellicharge-i4-v2-charger.html this one will charge all batteries, including AAA & AA & all the mod configurations.
Have a look at the video at the bottom of page.
The next thing you need is a device to fit on the Vamo, you could go with a
http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/clearomizers/256-innokin-iclear-30-dual-coil-clearomizer-tank.html (one of my favourites) or a http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/clearomizers/348-5ml-hypertank-bcc-pyrex-glass-clearomizer.html a little dearer but a great vape from these & holds 5ml liquid, what ever you decide, always buy a couple of spare atomizers, about 2 euro each, there is a video for this clearo at the bottom of the page.
All you need now is ejuice, other vapers gave their suggestions on what flavour to try,you will end up trying alot of flavours until you find the one you really like.
Just a suggestion,if you decide to buy this Vamo setup from Bestshop,I would suggest that you buy 10ml of "French Pipe" (Strong) & try it out, this is my favourite all day vape, with Bestshop, the more bottles you buy the cheaper it is.

I hope this helps you & good luck with vaping,it will get you off the fags.

Thanks, but I think this seems more than I'd want, as it stands I only use the Intellicig as I would normal smokes, use it on smoke breaks and will have a few blasts every hour at home.

Don't really want something that I'm going to be using night noon and morning, no point in me getting off the smokes only to become latched on to the vaping.

The starter kit that FF suggested seems to fit more with what I'm after, will give it a crack sure, and if it's not up to mustard then I'll start looking in to the stuff you suggested, and thanks again for suggesting it.
