WE have been fairly poor but Giroud has been brillant at both ends of the field, we have hit the post twice with cracking efforts, we are 1 up and Chez is looking sharp when he has to be.

Cazorla, Arteta and Ramsey have been below par for the entire first half.
Southampton are not great but they have far too much possession for my liking.

The ref is awful, not one 50/50 challenge has been allowed. Free given for every one and its completely random which way it goes. Slows the game down too much.

People will probably say it was soft but the ref was definitely on to Fonte because he pulled Giroud really badly earlier, he deserved to give one away.
