I have non-resident accounts with BOI that I operate online by 365. I am currently in SE Asia with my account address here and I want to add Payees to my 365 accounts. "To do this when initially registering your mobile number, the code needs to be posted to the address on my account". (Once I have activated this, I have the option of receiving future payee activation codes via text message.)
The postal system does not work here therefore cannot receive the mobile phone activation code by post. What other way in such a circumstance.

Hi 7SGNFF.

Thanks for getting in touch.

We understand your frustration and appreciate the predicament you are in.

When registering your mobile to receive activation codes via text message, the initial code must go to the address which we hold on file for you. Unfortunately it is not possible to receive this code in any other format.

If you need to change the address on your account, please print and complete the change of address form here which can then be posted to your account holding branch.

Please see here for our branch locator where you will find a full list of contact details for our branches.

We hope this helps. If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

Thanks,

Paula C
