Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Worn brake disc causing brake to bind?

My single disc up front is worn in the middle by about 25% of its width.
The brake started binding so I disassembled the caliper completely, cleaned and greased up all the sliding pins with copper grease and reassembled and bled the system.
Its still binding slightly so am wondering if the worn disc could cause this.
    Anybody have this experience before?

Did you check the pistons for corrosion?.. It might be a case that the worn disc is causing the pistons to push further out and any corrosion may be preventing them returning.

Sure did. The pistons were removed, cleaned and all seals intact and the pistons push out and return as normal.

I'd be replacing a disc that was 25% worn and move on from there.

Breakers will often have perfect discs ready to go for a fraction of the price.
