    BIG DISH GO's resident DJ; Ivan Smagghe brings along another legendary guest; JG Wilkes of Optimo for a 5 hour back to back special. Optimo are the duo JD Twitch and JG Wilkes who have in the last decade become renowned and highly respected for their memorable and ecstatic DJ sets. Much like Smagghe, Optimo exhibits a unique disregard for genres and musical restrictions in their craft, creating a nightclub experience that strikes out into territories far beyond the accepted boundaries of club music. The duo are responsible for the nightclub Optimo (Espacio) which ran from November 1997 until April 2010. Optimo sat at the very epicentre of the Scottish Clubbing consciousness in its weekly residency in the Sub Club and is widely regarded as one of the most important and ground-breaking clubs of the past 10 years (at one point earning them the prestigious title of Mixmag “Club of the Year”). Ivan's connection with Optimo is deeply intertwined. He first played at Optimo almost ten years ago and has been a regular there ever since. Ivan's Kill The DJ label released Optimo's first ever mix CD and that established a long and firm friendship. These special one off back to back sets with Smagghe have always attracted big crowds to The Underground in Dublin and this one will be no different.
