Green Bay getting some momunetum now?

Calvin Johnson looks hurt to me. Come on they can't be any worse.

Come on Flynn what the hell was that? Like a deer in headlights running around there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 924 ✭✭✭Emperor1989

    Get Flynn off the pitch.

Just a joke performance....stick on the walk on, can't be any worse.

He is jumpy in the pocket no presence.

I actually think even with a loss today, if the Packers win out with Rodgers they'll take the NFC North. The Lions are absolutely woeful. They should be embarrassed only being 24-10 up.

    Jeez, pathetic.

Flynn safety... Jesus. Just throw it, throw it anywhere. Just don't stand like a statue.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 924 ✭✭✭Emperor1989

    You cannot trust the Lions.

They do lack the clutch especially in the 4th quarter.

That's not on him at all.

Flynn is getting way too much stick for this game. The O Line is shocking, getting torn to shreds.

Get Flynn off the pitch. Open man and tries to be a running back.

Last three times he had the ball in his hand he took an age to do something with it.

Agree with the o-line being poor, Suh had free reign to go up the middle and hit him. But he's got to be quicker.

He had 2 seconds max when Suh sacked him?!? Probably less. What exactly is he to do there? Not even Rodgers would have survived that.

Good bit of distance between the 2 sides now, thankfully.
Love Joique Bell. Such a beast.

Like watching a Madden game mismatch here with such shocking run defense from the Packers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 924 ✭✭✭Emperor1989

Rodgers gets the playbook before the third down and just fires it to the ground in disgust.

Clearly the whole offense is a mess.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 924 ✭✭✭Emperor1989

How many missed tackles by Green Bay??

There first up tackling is as bad as I have ever seen.

    Really pretty touchdown.

    What a catch!!

    Super catch for the TD.

Think this is the biggest defeat I've ever witnessed the Packers have.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 981 ✭✭✭Lionbacker

I suppose that just sums up the Packers game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 981 ✭✭✭Lionbacker

    Fantastic win.
Awful 1st quarter but absolutely dominant from than on:)

Just saw the final score. Oh it doesn't sound good from the numbers.

Missed the game but just caught the nice one handed TD near the end. I expected the Packers to lose, considering all the crap they're dealing with at the moment. Didn't expect that margin though.

Had to laugh at one Packers 'fan' in the Woolshed, he was doing the whole disgusted fan routine on the Lions first TD, i.e. throwing his hands in the air, slamming his pint glass etc.... He barely followed the game in the 2nd half, had his back to the screen.... I know the performance was terrible but support your team ffs!!

    Well that was horrific...

We've now given up 500 rushing yards over the last two games - forget the end of the season, get rid of Capers now and promote someone as an interim.

    Great start for the Cowboys

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,323 ✭✭✭padraig_f

Game on, the Raiders came to play. Their front-7 is playing well.

DeMarcus Ware is causing some problems, but McGloin has made some nice throws, and his receivers some nice catches.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,836 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

    McGloin is money on 3rd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Cowboys giving McGloin plenty of time and single coverage on 3rd down. I expect Romo to pull it back in the second half though.

    What a run.

Last chance for the Raiders, onside kick coming up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Feck's sake Raiders ruining the Dallas -8.5 on me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭me89

    Poor attempt

I wondered why they always did half-assed onside kicks in this sport, didn't realise the defence can touch the ball at any stage :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭Tristram

    Is Antonio Brown playing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

Surprised to see the thread was totally dead last night for the Ravens-Steelers game

I nodded off during it, three games is tough going on a week night.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the game live last night, but I've just got caught up.

It was very nerve-wracking at the end as I thought those missed TD opportunties would come back to haunt us but what a huge, huge win. Justin Tucker just cannot miss at the minute. The man is on fire.

Mike Tomlin could do with getting a ban as well for that stunt he pulled last night. Jacoby Jones should have ran straight through him.

Right back in the playoff and division race now with 10 days to prepare for the Vikings.

Next week is an absolute must win and we will win but I have no confidence for the other 3. Let's hope 8-8 makes the playoffs.

Ravens have Lions, Pats and Bengals and they're away against Lions and Bengals.
Going to be tough to clinch a playoff spot.

Four posts in a row from Ravens fans above me ^^^

    Good to see :)

Yeah the Ravens should beat the Vikings. Also Dennis Pitta is coming back from the temporary IR designation next week, hands of gold!!

For a coach to do that was horrifying. No wonder his team is a mess if that's the man leading them. Lost all respect for Tomlin after that.
Thankfully it didnt affect the result -- jones was going all the way IMO

The NFL network pregame show is pretty much a micro chasm of all sports tv punditry nowadays! Literally no insight or analysis that the lay-viewer couldn't figure out for themselves! Serious analysis thrown out in favour of a Punch and Judy themed circus!

Very true, I like to call it an exercise in stating the obvious.
