Absolutely ridiculous. 1-0 and in total control, the Britannia subdued and then they throw away a lead just before half time with a shocking mistake from Cech and suddenly it becomes a completely different game. The defence is a shambles but it isn't just the back four and keeper, how much space had Ireland and Assaidi in front of the defence for their goals? Acres of room and an eternity to do what they wanted to. While Azpilicueta was certainly fouled in the build up to Ireland's goal, Cahill has to do better, it's something that's been said before but he is so reluctant to go and close down the ball, he invites players to shoot and this isn't the first time an opposition player has taken advantage of that. While his mistakes aren't as spectacular or dramatic as those of David Luiz, imo, there is far more of them in his game and they prove just as costly. Eto'o for their winner was ridiculous, he looked pretty awful when he came on, either not fully fit or not bothered, I hope it was the former.

Hazard, back to not performing consistently and putting a good run of games together,
Schurrle, our MOTM was taken off for Eto'o
Mata, quiet, done nothing of note
Torres, offered little
Ba, played into Stokes hands by lumping balls to him
Eto'o, :rolleyes: talk about a guy just being there for the sake of it, hes beyond useless.

Jose, got it all wrong, Stoke started the 2nd half sniffing a chance and went for it.


This current team wont win the EPL, its that simple, our away performances have been average to dire, 11 points away from home, only our home form wion 7 drawn 1 is keeping us from doing a Utd on it.

Its f**king annoying we cant put any run of wins together and i go back to it, 6 goals conceded against teams like Stoke and Sunderland? Wait until we ave to play the better teams away from home, if we play like that we'll be destroyed.

6 goals lost in two games against those two teams is shockingly bad.

Why is Cole, one of the best left backs in the country not playing while a gifted RIGHT BACK covers his spot while Ivan(who I'm a fan of) is having a bad run(I don't think he's produced a decent cross from1% of his attempts!)

Maddening stuff, all the more because we could of had decent air between us and the rest belowand put some pressure on arsenal, who now can relax more (thus play better) against Everton.


Sooner or later I expect a slip up from arsenal but just don't know does anyone want it enough. to catch them when they do.
