    Fair result, good performance, beating Fulham next is what counts.

    These BT sports lads are muppets, Jake Humprey, McManaman and Hargreaves are complete idiots.

    Yes beating Fulham who are appalling is a must, as is the Sunderland game. Their the meat & veg games. Really hope Soldado opens his account soon?

    that was a decent performance, not perfect. I'm happy with that. I was a bit worried about our confidence going into this one after last week.

    Booing for that was a bit stupid,Lennon looked knackered at that stage and had done little for a while.

    I thought Lennon looked fresh, unless there was an injury of course. Evra, he must of been happy to have seen the back of him. The crowd were in shock?

    Today was a big step in the right direction, we played with a bit of purpose , Lennon was good , chadli not so much. But it proved that by using width we can create space. We had a lot less possession than normal but our attacks had more zip and we looked like scoring something that has been missing. I thought Townsend was ok when he came on, Lennon is still ahead though.
    Defoe to start against Fulham it's the type of game that will suit him down to the ground, plus he needs games in the pl, don't really want to see him go to Mls in January

    Thought Chadli had a pretty solid game, seemed to link up well with Paulinho, Soldado et al. Not much from him in the second half but I'm guessing he was under orders to shut down that wing with United targeting everything at Vertonghen.

    And that penalty looks like a dive the more I see it. Wellbeck left his leg in as he was running past, could have been done for diving IMO.

    PS. Strange hearing Michael Owen saying Lennon should have bought a penalty earlier on rather than try and cross the ball.
