2 Laptops in hotel room

Hi, Hope someone can help me. We are going to a hotel for Christmas and there is wired broadband in the room but no wireless (only in common areas).

Question is - Is there anything I can get that will allow 2 laptops to use the wired broadband at the same time ?

I think it's possible to connect one laptop wired and configure it for internet connection sharing. No need for additional hardware. Just using wired laptop's wireless as a connection point for the second laptop.

If you have a standalone wireless router at home, you could just bring that with you.

You can set the wired one up as "server", a wifi hotspot which will "share" out internet access and the "other" laptop can then use wifi to access the internet.

There are 100s of guides on the net on how to do this and you won't need any extra hardware
