Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know where I could buy some Copaslip (copper based grease)?

I need it to stop the brake pads on my bike from squealing.

Probably cheaper to just throw on new pads. If it's a disc brake and it squeals the pads are contaminated and a lost cause.

Or maybe ask a mechanic garage if they will sell a small bit, you won't need a whole 500g drum of it !

Brake pads are more expensive when your bike has an engine on it.

Halfords has a few variations of copper grease, not sure about that brand.
Calbro on Tuam Road probably has it.

    Galway >> Motorbikes.

I had some from 3in1 brand in halfords. Spray on, pretty cheap and it worked. The can says it'll stand temps up to 1500 Celsius.

Bikeshops sell brake paste too though for that exact jobs. Comes in tiny sachets.

Actually I think he did you a favor, how many people on the galway board do you think actually know what your talking about. I've never heard it been called coppaslip over here either. Most people call it copper grease.

You were given advice and good advice, if you aren't able to see that, then I can only see one bellend. :)

Pretty much any motor factors will have it.

Maybe you're one of those people that think all other boards forums are just for Dubs? ;)
Motorbikes is the best forum as anyone here will be able to recommend shops or alternatives. You may even find that other Galway bikers wander in here too.

    Infraction given for uncivilness btw.
