    Hey guys

I am looking for a smaller tank than the one I have now. I am using the Hyper 4 / Splitfire tank and it is great but a bit big.

Have tried a lot of the smaller ones and have had leaking isues etc.

    Any recommendations ?

I'm using one of these the last few days and no leaks so far: http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/maxibdc.htm

They seem pretty popular at the moment, flavor is ok and the give off tons of vapor. I used mini protanks for ages before this but there was always some liquid on the battery connection when I screwed it off and I could never fill it without a drop going up the center post which meant I had to wash it out every time.

I've had no leaks from either with the aspire but some people are saying the heads can be inconsistent.

Pro tip. Cotton ear buds fit down the centre post of most clearos.

The aspire seem to be very good, dual bottom coils.....have to have a good hit off them, I have not found a clearomiser yet that does not leave some liquid on the batt connection....maybe there is one but I have not seen it yet! The fluid on the batt connection is not a problem really, it just needs cleaning now and then....and the tip about cotton buds works.....just be very careful not to shove the bud down too far as it will wreck your coils....I know.....:)

Well so far with the aspire I haven't needed cotton buds or tissue or anything. Just turn it upside down, screw the bottom part off, fill and put back together. No drops on the battery either which wasn't a big deal but still needed cleaning which was annoying when out of the house.

I'm finding the flavour OK but not super. But I have been using a dripper with cotton wick for the last few months so it was never going to be as tasty as that.

Yeah, hard to beat a dripper with cotton :) Sounds good about the Aspire though, been eying one of those up for a while.....cleaning seems to be part and parcel of this process though....

Yeah they come apart into 4 pieces for easy rinsing. I'm going through a lot of juice with it, those dual coils are chucking it out fairly fast.

Dual coils seem to be very juice happy.....they suck juice like nothing else.....:D

How often do you need to change the heads in that tank ?

I don't know yet, I only got it on Thursday. I'd say once a week roughly depending on how much juice you use. Maybe someone else on here has a better idea.

Once a week sounds about right, pretty much what I have done with any in the past !

It should arrive tomorrow, looking forward to using it

    Cheers :)

Depends directly on what juice you are using, Tobacco/Sweet/Dark juices seem to gunk up the coils quickly, like within 2-3days, Ones like Menthol seem to keep going for weeks even, with washing and dry burning you can extend the life of a set if coils threefold or even more if you are careful. Replacement coils are not expensive or you can learn to rebuild the coils yourself.

I never really bought into the whole dry burning thing. I always found that it wrecked the wick a bit and only extended the lifetime by a short while.

Seems it works for some not others, probably depends what juice is on them.

I miss the good old days! Hours spent burning stainless mesh and winding coils on an Aga T trying to get rid of the hot spots. The happy times punching holes in cartos and getting a lap full of juice when it slipped out of the tank.

These young uns have it too easy!

Ive been using the above for the past 18 months and never had an issue.
Also have it on a cloupor mini - another great combination

Then i go to write this post and have a browse at new tanks available and find something which i must try - anyone any experience with these bad boys?

The Evod is not for me but I do like to see whats new on the market & this tank is ideal for ego style batteries or similar & the top fill looks good, the coil is a 1.5 organic cotton,so good for the MTL out there, here is one video I found showing the whole kit....
