Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How the fcuk has Moyes sat there watching this and not made changes

    They're going to score again

    Get Cleverley and Welbeck off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Get Nani on for the win. Has traditionally done quite well against Spurs.

Gee Dawson, made to look a mug yet again.

For flikr sake Welbeck has to go now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,207 ✭✭✭miralize

Cleverley makes a good pass to Welbeck, who then does a good run, and United fans still criticise. Huh.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,831 ✭✭✭Peanut Butter Jelly

    But Jones touched the ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,799 ✭✭✭FortuneChip

    What's the ref at there?
Gives advantage, they had possession and space; that's advantage! Then calls them back?

I'm only giving out because I'm nervous of us defending free kicks!

Cleverly is a tidy player, people expect him to be like Scholes. Boy has good feet, just needs to find a bit of confidence in what he can do.

He is one of the busiest hassling midfielders in the league when not in possession

Also I'd have Nani on for Wellbeck and put Kagawa back through the middle behind Rooney.

You used to be a United fan until you wanted more glory and supported Barcelona. Huh.

You don't watch many United games, obviously. Everything Welbeck does until the final pass or finish is usually excellent. His final ball and final pass are more often than not left wanting. It's the continuity of it, rather than the isolated incident, that frustrates people.

Welbeck passes ball to Vertonghen, United fans meant to be happy?

    Thank **** Welbeck is gone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

    Well that's a bizarre sub

    Leaving the team distorted

    Hopefully it pays off

Thank god Welbeck is off though

No, but in that specific incident, who did he have to pass it to? He did well to get that far, he's not going to improve if he doesnt get any confidence from anyone.

Kagawa putting in a good defensive shift today, even though he shouldn't have to be...

He had Rooney. He's also not reading boards.ie, so I doubt anybody is affecting his confidence.

Cleverley completely let Townsend go there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Bring Nani on for Valencia. Vertonghen looks knackered, last ditching all over the place.

Ahh come on, he's one of the most criticised young english players. And he is just that, young.

No harm in fans recognizing when he does something right, rather than lambasting him when he messes up.

I don't get how Dean has booked Evra and Rooney but didn't book Chiriches for blocking off Rooney earlier. The Evra one was identical.

So nice to see attack-minded substitutions...

How can you know? Genuine question, btw.

When talking to Evra, the ref was pointing round the field. Struck me the gist of what he was saying was "It's not just this but the foul over there and there as well..."

Because the ref was pointing to evra had Done the other fouls

Cool. But they're usually yellow cards anyway. Deliberate block to prevent an attack from going further. Not sure why accumulation is needed.
