    Mullen has taken 5 minutes from the current leader in the run, and is doing consistently faster splits. She's going to win this!

    I'm loving this. My coaches boss is racing his first IM and seems to be having the day from hell. The irish are making him look like he's stopped :)

    Don't think it's giving much away to let dory know tri newbie is Niall Somers, he has a very very low 9 hour IM from memory last year.

    I must admit is is much more interesting to track the top age graders rather than the mid packers as you are keeping an eye on how their podium rivals are getting on also

    Half the country was checking on that brazen drafter Tracey Macs run progress last week, she will be shocked if she ever types in Tracey + drafting + Ireland into Google

    Predicted time now 9:02...that got faster than last time I checked?

    Whatever that 2.6km section is is either tough or they're timing it wrong, everyone down as 6:xx kmh for that patch

    Timing mats seem to be off alright. Pace jumping from ~2km/h - 6km/h. I wonder if the estimated finishing times are affected by this?

    trinewbie within touching distance of the finish now, couple of K to go and will be just over 9 by the looks of it...zico about 6k to go fazz about 10k...Aileen Flynn running well too and heading for a low 10's IM

    Unbelievable split from Mullen, shes getting faster, and has to have this race now. Looks likes shes broken the girl in 2nd.

    Some guy called Emmet Kelly from Tramore did a 57 min swim, 6:20 bike and a 2:59 marathon!!

    edit: no race time 6:20 after bike 'doh

    edit2: Alan home now 9:28...Ian shouldn't be far behind

    And Fazz home in 9:45...looks like he might have struggled in the heat but doubt he'll be complaining about a sub 10 on his debut in that heat...and it's still a 3:30 marathon off the bike!
