Anyone know a good place to buy a tree? Got one in the small shop in the crescent for the last 2 years but they don't look like they're opening this year...

Parkway Roundabout, Ivans Cross. Maybe that place near the NCT centre?

curraghchase has great trees - and you won't run the risk of buying a stolen tree

Who sells them in curraghchase? Is it in by the playground?

Drive into the carpark, barrier to right towards the house will be open, drive up to the house and around the back.

Afaik Curraghchase is the only place in Limerick where you can buy them direct from Coillte this year. Fitzflora and another centre in Eastway do them, checked them both out last year and still coming in for around €50-€60 each. Homebase have them for around the same price. There was a shop inside Superquinn selling them for the last couple of years too but haven't seen any sign of them opening again yet.

Went out to Curraghchase today for my tree, large enough selection. mine (7') cost €45, I think they had ones for €50 and €55 too. They also had 10' trees but not sure how much they cost.

We bought a little one in a pot (apartment living) that will grow to 6ft eventually. It was about 20e. Not sure what the larger ones were costing as we just dont have the space for one so we didnt even enquire.

They sell them in pots in Garden World in Ellen St and can be grown on for next year or planted out. Real live Christmas trees:p Around 15 to 30 euro but smaller than the cut trees.

They're selling them in the crescent car park by the new road. I assume its the same people who use sell them out of chartbusters there

Any update on where to get a Christmas tree at a good price? Hoping to go get one this evening.

Looking for a small-ish one, maybe 5ft. Can anyone advise how much trees this size cost approximately?

Down by the Milk Market (on the Watergate side) they are selling any tree size for €40.

Ended up getting one from the greengrocer's (not sure of the name) next to Tesco in Roxboro.

It was €35 so fairly cheap, and the guy who sold it to me said all the trees are the same price, no matter what size. He has them 5ft-7ft in height!
