Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,
    We are Chasing Felix, a South Dublin original group all aged 23-26. We've only been together a few months but its been a roller coaster over the past few weeks! We are in the process of recording an EP (with 2 solid weeks of recording in Silverline Studios down already) and have a number of Dublin dates scheduled for December (Whelan's, Fibbers etc). Our Facebook page has gathered over 800 likes in the past 3 weeks and things are really starting to take off.

    Our style could be categorised as up-beat rock or, as Nile Rodgers said, "the sort of music people hear once and want to hear again". Our influences are vast and constantly open to new material and include The 1975, Prince, Crosby Stills and Nash, Muse, Rory Gallagher, Springsteen.. I find it impossible to list influences with tastes so broad, but theres a few ideas!

    At the moment, we're looking for the right drummer to fit the lineup. Our current drummer cannot commit the time anymore as he has just taken on a job with a lot of travel. Ideally we're looking for someone who can invest time and energy into a fast moving project. Own transport, sample recordings and rehearsal space a bonus (although we rehearse in a house in Cabinteely). Experience, reliability and soundness a must! Clothing optional.

    PM me for more information and for recordings... there are many of them, but they're not just ready for release at the moment.
