Completely agree re Herbstreet. Found the service awful and the menu extremely limited.

Ely is a good buzzy place for pre theatre cocktails and dinner. Milanos is great if you sign up online for their offers. I regularly get offers (buy one main, get one free or 25% off main courses) emailed to me.
