Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I like the look of this, but am worried what turns up will be poor quality or just dodgy.

Anyone have some good things to look for to help decide if a buyer / merchandise is legit ?

Just on pure guesswork and not knowing anything about the jacket - it's fake!
Basing that on the location, and description. Supposed to be Kawasaki but doesn't have kawasaki written on it anywhere.
Some fakes are as good as the real thing, but most are cheap and nasty. I'd stay away

The feedback looks good, albeit mainly for low priced items, however he did sell one of these jackets in black and the buyer seems happy enough with it going by the feeback that was left.
Buy through PayPal and E.bay and you have some comeback, also just noticed that the seller accepts returns and that they pay for the return postage.

Returns: 14 days refund, seller pays return postage

The stitching looks bad on some of the close ups. Also the English in the ad is horrendous !!! Kawasaki do make a small range of clothing and it says Kawasaki on it. This is just a fake "Monster Energy" jacket.

Bit much for the risk, but I do want it.
    Can anyone recommend anything similar?

    He doesn't claim that it's a K'wak jacket.

It's like saying Apple Ipad stylus. It's not made by Apple, but it'll work with their stuff.
This jacket isn't made by Kawasaki, but you can wear it when you ride one.

    Chinese logic to an extent!

I'm not overly worried about it being a real Kawasaki.
Just worried about it being safe and water proof.
Thanks for the advice, maybe in the new year :)

Mail them. I'm doubting it's waterproof or very safe, but mail them and ask. They really seem to not want bad feedback, so will tell you the truth most likely.

Generally the stuff from China like this is replica stuff. It may look good and feel ok, however more often the standard is not very high and safety aspect of it may not be up to scratch. The unfortunate side of that is, you won't know that until you need it and by then it is usually too late.

As long as you accept that bit you have nothing to worry about.

If it is a cool breathable one as advertised, the jacket is usually made of fine mesh and the water proof/resistant bit is the removable lining. I would not say it is waterproof, could be resistant to a few drops.

Anyhow, I do like the look of it! :D

Unfortunately you wont know if its a "safe" jacket until you crash.
So personally id just buy from a reputable dealer.
