*Scampers in 1st :D, evening Ms. Chuckles, i'll shall keep this brief
Good evening and thanks for dropping by this marvellous Monday :D

    1. What brought you to Boards in the first place?
I'm not sure.... Trying to be Irish, I guess :pac:

    2. Which threads do you frequent most on Boards?
The Looney Lair, of course! :D

    3. You can invite any 3 people from history to dinner, who would they be & why?
Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Grace Kelly.
It would be a classy, old-fashioned double-date kinda dinner with bubbly and jazz music. Two great singers (one especially good-looking) with interesting stories and one perfect lady to teach me more ladylike things :D

...... no wonder I love "High Society" so much :o

    4. Have you met any Boardsies in real life?
    No :(

    5. Poison of choice on a night out
    Bubbly!
Although, I wouldn't call it poison...... Beer then maybe? But I don't go out very often to drink. I no like going out to drink
    :o

    6. What kind of music resides on your iPod
Oh my, that's a tricky question.... I have an awful lot of things on my mp3-player that don't really go together. I have world-music (Bollywood, Arabic, Cumbia, you name it!), 50's jazz, opera, rock oldies, some metal and an awful lot of happy music. I don't listen to my mp3-player very much because the combination is just weird......

    7. Do you think life is more fun with a dirty mind?
No. Life is more fun with a quirky mind. Life is more embarrassing with a dirty mind. I hate it when people make things I say dirty - I'm embarrassed for weeks! :o
    MORTO, like! :p

    8. Do you curse like a sailor?
No. I very rarely curse and when I do I tend to make up my own curse words. My favourite curse at the moment is "Oh scrap!"

and finally, i'll stroke my own ego here.......

    9. What do you think of Lithium's Lunatic Lair to date?
    It's absolutely marvellous!! :D
It gets five out of five Chuckles :pac:

    Gracias Ms. Chuckles :D

    Gracias igual, Lithium :)

    Howaya, Teddy! :D
... I was dreading these questions
    :p

How far east can you go before you're heading west?
If you go east you can never head west. East will always be east and so on and so forth :P

Where does the toetag go on a dead person if they don't have toes?
    The ear?

If we say, we are here to help others, what are the others here for?
    Helping us. :D

How can something be "new" and "improved"? if it's new, what was it improving on?
    It's not, it's just sneaky marketing ;)

Do Chinese people get English sayings tattooed on their bodies?
    lol
Maybe they do. I haven't checked out any tattooed Chinese people's tattoos recently :P

If a bee is allergic to pollen would it get the hives?
No, it wouldn't. It would however have to carry around an awful lot of tissues with all that sneezing going on... It would look ridiculous though.

At what point in man's evolution did he start wiping his ass?
When he started to wear fancy clothes. Eeeewwwwwwwww... I don't want to picture stained fabric. Ew! Ew! Ew!

Can you still say "Put it where the sun don't shine " on a nude beach?
    Yes.

If there's an exception to every rule, is there an exception to that rule?
Yes, and that's the exception, isn't it? :D

When you're caught "between a rock and a hard place", is the rock not hard?
Not that rock in particular since it's wrapped up in bubble wrap. Yay for bubble wrap! :D:D:D

When sign makers go on strike, is anything written on their signs?
Of course not, they're on strike :)

Is there a difference between a glass half full & a glass half empty?
It depends on how you look at it....... :pac:

If a tree falls in the woods, how do we know ?
You would know if it landed on your tent.

Why do people say sleep like a baby?
Because they look snug when they sleep.

Why does Murphy have a law named after him?
Murphy has a law?! That was probably because he looked so very important driving my tractor around town. That was the last time I lend him my tractor

Will come back with serious questions later

    Please do :)
    Thank you!

A few "warm up" questions for you:D
Why thank you kindly, Dexter! :D

    1. What will you cook for Christmas dinner?
I will not be cooking this Christmas, thank goodness!
If I was I'd be making regular Christmas food like ham, tiny sausages, meatballs, beetroot sallad, spicy mustard and potato gratin. I'd have to have some help though 'cos that is a lot of food :)

    2. Your favourite way to unwind from the day?
Monday to Thursday: Watching Dr Phil :o
Fridays: listening to old jazz music and drinking a glass of bubbly (yes, I do, do that) :D

    3. What is your paid employment?
    Soldier.

    4. Do you like decadence or prefer simplicity?
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what that means :o

    5. Your biggest regret?
Not standing up for myself when I should've. In general, I have no regrets. Regrets are usually mistakes, but it is from mistakes that you learn ;)

    6. Are you as funny in real life as you are online?
    Yes :o

    7. Favourite part of Ireland, and why?
Dublin Mountain-Hills. There are sheep up there!!! :D:pac:

    8. Nicest pub in Dublin you've frequented?
I'm not sure I have been to any :o

    9. Do you own a set of Waterford crystal glasses?
    No.

    10. Don't you think Mr. Wolfman person is very mean limiting me to Just 50 questions?:(
No, because now you have to think a little bit longer about what you actually want to know ;)

Questions 11-20 Lady Chuckles if it's not too much trouble
    Not at all!

    11. What are these tiny sausages you speak of?:D
They're like the ones you have for breakfast but they taste differently. Prinskorv.

    12. Did anyone ever say to you, "you look like a tree full of owls?":D
    Oh, Dexter.... :o
Are you coming on to me? :D

    13. How come you've never been in a Dublin pub?
I'm not it Dublin that often and when I am, you're most likely to find me at the airport reading out everything written in green or looking lost in Blanchardstown shopping centre :)

    14. Ever drive a Citroen?
I own one! A black C3. It's the apple of my eye :D

    15. Do you prefer a good fish restaurant or a good meat restaurant?
A good meat restaurant, I think. I love fish too, but I would have to go alone to it because I don't know a lot of people who like fish.
    ..... the weirdos

    16. What's so good about Dr. Phil?
He's always the voice of reason and I love the way his wife is always in the audience.

    17. Top 3 boardsies ( besides me, myself an I)?

There are so many lovelies around, but of course I adore the ones who talk to me a little bit more - and you're one of them :)

    18. What did you study in college?
    Radio/journalism.

    19. Top 5 favourite films of all time?

    No can do, mister :p

    Thank-you again Lady Chuckles:)

    God morgon Dam Smaskrattar :p
    God morgon, smulan :)

Describe, from start to finish, your ideal day.
I'd wake up around 9 o' clock and have a lovely breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and fruit (I'm thinking along the lines of melon, pineapple, grapes, maybe a kiwi) and juice as well as a cup of coffee. Ideally it should just magically be there without me having to cook it :P
Then I'd like to dress up in something pretty and go to a nearby city for shopping/a walk. Mr Chuckles would drive me in the C3. I commute to work, so I don't want to drive extra when I'm off. There we'd go shopping. I suck at shopping, but it is nice to get out and look at people and walk around in town. I'd probably enter 4 shops. Then we'd go to my favourite bakery where I'd have my favourite pastry in the world and a cappuccino :D
Then we'd walk around some more before we go home again. When home I'd play some video games or read or something and snuggle the cat.
Then we'd have a jazzy evening (again with the jazziness.... :p) :pac:
We'd cook dinner together, open a bottle of bubbly and watch a movie once we've eaten. Just being snuggled up on the sofa :)

Cats or dogs, and how many of each do you own?
Cats. I recently got adopted by a very hungry, stray cat. He's a sweetheart and no hungry stray anymore :):)

    Daddy, chips or ponies?
    Daddy.

What's the most gummy bears you ever ate in one sitting?
200 grams. I can't have too much, it's like they're bouncing around in my tummy :pac:

    Favourite food?
Tasty food! I'm not (generally) picky.

    Favourite cuisine?
    Spicy cuisines.

    Favourite meal?
Roast beef and potato gratin along with fresh sallad (ideally with feta cheese in it).

    Best concert you ever attended?
I've only ever been to one concert and it was pretty sucky. I need to get out more :o

What movie or movies do you watch over and over again?
While you were sleeping, Due date and High society.

When are you planning to return to my island?
    This Christmas.

Who did you cheer for when Sweden played humiliated Ireland a few
    months ago?
    Ireland!
I was told I wouldn't be popular at work if Ireland had won (they're mad into football) .... but what the hay, who cares? :pac:

    Tack.
    Tack själv :)

It's a brownie base with passion fruit mousse and a layer of jam and on the top there's a thin layer of jelly to keep decorative strawberries and raspberries in place. Yum! :D

    Why thank you, Teddy! :)

Whats the longest you've gone without sleep?
21 hours. I'm usually not that hardcore when it comes to staying up. This was when I was doing military training (for obvious reasons)

Whats the tallest building you've ever been up?
    I don't know.... I've stayed in a rather tall Hilton Hotel :P

    Do you have any scars?
Yes, I fell down a cherry tree scraping my back against the stem all the way down. I also have scars from that time I had the shingles.

    Do you like marmite?
    Never tried it ;)

Did you ever win any sportsday events?
No, but a team I was in came second in a basketball tournament :)

What did you want to be when you grew up?
    A princess.

If you could change anything about yourself what would it be?
I'm happy out the way I am :)

Whats the longest you've ever grown your hair?
    Slightly above my waist.

    Are you scared of flying?
    No.

Would you rather trade some intelligence for looks or looks for intelligence?
Neither, I don't have a lot to take from as is :p

Have you ever tie-dyed your own clothes?
    Yes.

How often do you buy new clothes?
Unfortunately not very often at all. Especially not nowadays since I wear a uniform at work.

    Are you reliable?
    Yes.

    Are you proud of yourself?
    On occasion.

Have you ever had a secret admirer
    No.

If you could ask your future self one question what would it be?
    Any advice?

    Do you hold grudges?
Not really, but it takes long to gain back my trust.

If you could breed two animals together to defy the laws of nature what new
    animal would you create?
    Lion-cat. It'd be a lion with the sentiment of a cat :D
I can picture the sweet, little enormous beast taking up my entire sofa while I pet it on its tummy :D:D:D

    No.

    Yes.

Have you ever been professionally photographed?
    No.

    Will do for now

    Thank you very much :)
    I appreciate it :D

And the list continues Lady Chuckles
Excellent! I was hoping it would :D

    21. Whats your most treasured kitchen implement?
I love my sandwich grill :D

    22. What brings a swede/turnip to Ireland?:P
    (Reference Koth for that joke)
    I'm not in Ireland :)
When I am it's to meet mr Chuckles' family.

    23. Your favourite perfume?
    Chance Chanel

    24. Tea from a china cup or a plain mug?
    China cup!

    25. Your most memorable Christmas present to date?
Nintendo NES. It brought a lot of fun for the entire family :D

    26. How many books have you read this year?
    3.

    27. What bands/performers/concerts have you seen in the last few years?
I haven't seen any the last few years. I'm usually on stage, singing in a choir, so I don't usually feel the need to go to concerts ;)

    28. Which could you not do without- designer shoes or designer handbags?
I don't have designer anythings at the moment..... but I'd go for designer shoes (as long as you're paying) :P:)

    29. What TV series/drama etc do you most enjoy watching?
I loved the BBC mini-series of Jane Austen's "Emma". I also loved "The adventures of Hornblower" when that was on (many years ago - I've heard all the jokes)
Nowadays the only series that are on that I tend to watch is Big Bang Theory and the Simpson's, but I'm not sure they fit the question ;)

    30. If you were given €2000 spending money and tickets to anywhere in the world for a 1 week only holiday (1week includes flights there/back)- where would you go.
Venice. I'd go in the autumn and I'd spend my spending money on nice food and drinks. I'd go to see an opera, an art museum and visit St Mark's Basilica. Great artists and musicians worked there and so I would love to see if for myself :)
    I simply love culture :D

    Thank-you again Lady Chuckles:)

Thank you very much, Dexter! :)

    Howaya Grid! :D

Are you preparing for St. Lucia's Day this year?
Not as much as I would normally. I've taken the day off and intend to light candles and listen to traditional music while having breakfast. If I'm alert in the morning maybe I'll get to see the celebrations on TV :D

    Will you be singing again?
No. I quit the choir not long ago :(
It's too much, it's like you don't have any spare time. I will now happily be in the audience instead.

What do you like/dislike about Offaly??
I love the bog and I love the OY-license plates :D
I like and I don't like that it is quiet :)

    Blanchardstown or Stephen's Green S.C??
If I remember correctly, Stephen's Green S.C doesn't have all that many shops in it.... in which case I'd prefer Blanchardstown. But at the same time, Stephen's Green SC is pretty :D - and you can have lunch in the city if you go there instead of B-town.
Yes, Stephen's Green SC it is :D

    Favourite Irish store?
    DUNNES!!

Do you visit IKEA when in Dublin?
I have been there once and it wasn't suggested by me. We just went over for lunch.
... and EFF-WHY-AAH (f.y.i) you're not meant to have chips with meatballs and you're not meant to skip the lingon berry jam :P

Would you like to mod the MLP forum?
Yes! I love ponies, so why not :D

Will you be buying a new outfit for Christmas?
I think so, but I'm not sure what to buy and where to buy it. I hate how women's winter clothes are as cold as summer clothes. I want to keep warm and look pretty :pac:

Have you put your decorations up yet?
No, I usually put the decorations up on the first advent Sunday, but I was working this year so I'm putting up decorations today instead :)

    Is it snowing there yet?
    Not yet ;)

Ever see a polar bear in the wild?
    Loads of them!! They're everywhere!
    No, I haven't.

    Thanks:)

    Thanks a million! :)

Twice or three times maybe :)

Is your new house fully decorated to LC's high standards yet?
    No, not yet :)

    Any tattoos?
    No.

    What is your cat's name?
Sigvard the Great :D (aka Sigge)

How many different ways could you kill someone?
I'm sure there are plenty of ways.

What exactly does the Swedish Army do, aren't you guys neutral like us?
Neutral indeed. You have an army too, we probably do the same things.

    Or is that Switzerland? :pac:
    Those too :p

What is your opinion of Finland and the Finns?
    They're a great bunch of lads :P

    Getting tired yet Lady Chuckles?:P
A little, but I'm still happy out :)

    All things Swedish this time:
    Oh no!

    31. What's Sweden like as a place to live-good aspects/bad aspects?
You do realise you're asking someone who grew up in, and still lives, in Sweden :P

    Good: easy going
    Bad: bureaucracy

    32. Were people categorised in the past into Saab drivers and Volvo drivers; if so, what's the difference?
I'm not entirely sure what you're after, though I can tell you that hardcore Volvo-lovers are boys who are just out of high school and got their first (Volvo) car. They love fixing with the vehicle, wearing black t-shirts, drinking beer and listening to metal. Their girlfriends also love black t-shirts and metal :P
Saab are for upper middleclass people. From what I can gather, Saab is considdered somewhat fancy :):)

    33. What's a must try food when in Sweden?
I don't know.... You must go for fika (coffee and some sort of pastry) at a bakery. It's what we do all the time. At this time of the year I'd recommend julmust and lussebulle :)

    lusskatter.jpg&h=250&w=250&zc=1&q=100

It may not be the riches of flavours but it's tradition ;)

    34. What does a good Swedish night out consist of?
    I don't know. I stay at home.
..... but I'm sure the others go out drinking like all the other kids in all the other countries :P

    35. Is there an equivalent of Abrakebabra at 4pm in the morning to congregate and gain much needed soakage?:D
    There's a 4 in the morning?!
I'm sound asleep at that hour.....

    Howaya, Koth! :D

    11. who'd win in a fight, a smurf or a gnome?
    A smurf. They're a bunch of up-to-no-goods :pac:

    12. why did beavers decide to build dams?
The architect beavers got hubris :D

    13. who is smarter, road runner or Jerry (from Tom+Jerry)?
The road runner 'cos he makes noises. I don't think I've ever heard Jerry talk. That would make Mister Runner the smarter one.

    14. why is 6 afraid of 7?
I never knew 6 was afraid of 7. I may need to investigate this.....

    15. you get to make a new law, what is it?
30 hour working week! More time for fun that way :D

    16. what should a person do every day to maintain chuckle levels?
Live the way you want to live; be yourself - and reduce contact with people who don't chuckle.

Smile when you brush your teeth. Sing loudly in the shower. Love silly boybands for the hay of it. Eat the things you like to eat. Be spontaneous. Try new things just because you can :D

    17. can you play any musical instruments?
Cello. I have played the piano and the recorder (forced in school) as well, but I wouldn't claim to be very good at either.

    18. ever spot any ice giants?
    Nope.

    19. ever go to a comedy gig? if yes, who?
    I don't get comedy gigs :p
The comedians are usually angry hobos. Sometimes they have great points to what they say, and whereas everybody else find it hilarious I think they make total sense. I really don't get it. :o

    20. isn't biffoland just the best? :P:P
    The greatest :D

Vaguely remember a phone call about getting a baby sister.

    2. Is there anything you find strange about Irish people?
Begrudgery. Not only is it strange - it makes me a little bit angry too :o
Also, you make me confused with greeting phrases. I'm not sure if "how are you?" actually means how are you or if it means hi :P

I love how you say "bye" a hundred times before you hang up the phone. I say that the more byes you get from am Irish person the more s/he loves you :D

    3. Have you ever pretended that your remote control was a phone?
    All the time :D

    4. Have your ever been in hospital?
    No.

    5. Do you ever wonder if you've met a Boardsie and not realised it?
    I tend to pressume I haven't, given where I'm located ;)

    6. What's your pet peeve?
Swedish people who don't know when to use "where" and "where to", people who pronounce Barcelona in a Spanish way though clearly not Spanish and people who inhale instead of blowing their nose

    7. Have you ever fallen asleep in public?
I accidentally fell asleep on an old man in an airplane once :o

    8. Have you ever seen Misfits the TV show?
    No.

    9. Do you wear nail polish?
    Yes.

    10. What's the most money you've spent at one time?
    800 €
I bought a new fridge and freezer :)

    Thanks Lady C! :)
    Thank you, Paw! :D

Yes. I believe it's made by the same company who made the Irish documentary War of the Buttons :pac:

    Yes.

    23. would you ever do a bungee jump?
    Neverrrrrrr! :P

    24. something that you thought was strange about the Irish the first time you visited Ireland :pac:
The fact that you simply drop by each others house without first calling to make sure it's ok and that you ring each other past 10 o' clock at night. It's still pretty weird :P:D
Also, the obvious, driving on the wrong side of the road - and wearing shoes indoors :)

    25. what car would you buy if money wasn't an issue?

    Hi again Chuckles!!
    Good evening, Grid :D

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
    21

Do you have any pet names? If yes, how did you get them?
Chuckles. It's my favourite ever pet name, I'm not sure why I got it or even how. I guess it's personality-related :)

If you could change your name to anything what would your new name be?
    Maeve.

Where was your first holiday to?
    Cuba.

    Are you a good skier?
I'm an average skier, or potentially a little bit below average. It's never been my forte (or an interest of mine). Especially not on icy snow, it's fricken' scary :)

Which Celebrity do you find the most annoying?
Anyone who's famous for being stupid

3 physical features you get complimented on a lot?
Smile and bottom. I used to get compliments for my waist as well, but not so much anymore.

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?
    May be annoying!

    Can you fake any accent?
    I can fake a Dub accent, a scummie one, but I wouldn't think it's very convincing :p

If you could change your natural hair colour, would you?
I've always felt bad for not being blonde, but I've made peace with that now - so, no :)

Have you ever had your national flag painted on your face?
    No.

Have you ever appeared on youtube?
I may have put up a video once.... :pac:

Have you ever assembled furniture from IKEA?
Yes. I love assembling furniture :D

If you could join any music group which would you want to join?
I have no idea.... Maybe the 90's Offspring :)

Have you ever eaten a whole tube of pringles by yourself?
Yes. I was very hungry :o
    (and felt sick afterwards....)

    Whats the ultimate cake topping?
    Jelly raspberries!

    449-3-10677gelehallon.jpg

How often do you eat meatballs & jam?
Not very often. Maybe once per month.

Whats your favourite biscuit to dunk?
    Ballerina biscuits or Jaffa cakes.

Are you sad Sweden aren't going to the WC....and do you blame Zlatan?
Don't get me started on Zlatan :pac:
It does suck that neither Ireland nor Sweden made it through. I don't blame Zlatan.

    Stockholm or Gothenburg?
    Göteborg.

    Ta ta:D

    Taaa :D

    31. Like pizza? if yes, what are your favourite toppings?
I love pizzas with a lot of topping!

I usually have a kebab pizza (fresh tomato, chilli, mushroom, kebab and spicy sauce) or a pizza with chicken, curry spice, pineapple, banana, peanuts and spicy sauce.
