PS4 notifications list?

You know the download section in notifications, if you select options and "delete"....is that deleting the notification, or is it deleting the file? Because i swaer i thought i was just deleting the info notifications and then downloaded files disappeared :confused:

If you delete the download notification it will stop and delete the downloading file.

Just wondering is it ok to delete the downloaded notifications once they have been installed i.e. To remove them from the download list?

I deleted Netflix from the notification menu just now and Netflix is working without the need to download.
