Since 2013 is nearly done I though it would be a good time to share your favourite albums of the year.

For me there has been a crazy amount of great releases. Even the last month or 2 had been awesome.

    1. Sadistik - Flowers For My Father (Favourite by a country mile, don't think its left my car stereo for more than a couple of days at a time! Incredible album.)
    2. Soulcrate Music - Welcome Back From Wherever You've Been
    3. Czarface - Czarface
    4. The Procussions - The Procussions
    5. R.A. The Rugged Man - Legends Never Die
    6. Blame One - A Walk In The Sun
    7. No Bird Sing - Definition Sickness
    8. Natti - Still Motion
    9. Demigodz - Killmatic
    10. Wax - Continue

Damn that was tough! Could've made it a top 20.

I just started to put my top 10 list together, it ended up as 38 albums/mixtapes, and I'm pretty certain I've missed a few as well.
Great year for Hip Hop this year.....if the Childish Gambino album is any use i'll be up to 39.

One thing I definitely have decided on, is the song of the year.
Action Bronson x Harry Fraud - Strictly 4 My Jeeps.

Song of the year goes to Mac Miller for me.

I really can't praise this album enough. Took me by surprise when it came out, never thought Mac would be making music to this quality.

A$AP Rocky - 1 Train is a close second though.

I'm surprised Ces Cru's "Constant Energy Struggles" hasn't been mentioned here yet. No.1 album of 2013 for me without a doubt.

Yep, had to double check though before I posted. Had to check the wax one too which came out in January. Seems so long ago!

I really dont have 10 albums this year that iv liked that much, honestly dont think it was that good a year but thats just my personal opinion. I hated yeezus and mmlp2 and magna carta was meh to say the least, 3 albums i was expecting a lot from.

I have on the other hand a lot of mixtapes that I've enjoyed but the album scene really didnt deliver for me this year especially with schoolboy q's album being pushed back till 2014 the same with 50s so ye not a great year for me. :)

off the top of my head in no particular order...

pusha t - my name is my name
    kid cudi - Indicud
    j cole - born sinner
N.O.R.E - student of the game
    Havoc - 13

I must give this ghostface album a listen tonight too! seems to be popular.

Just got around to CZARFACE after having it on the list for a while

6 tracks in and I've fell in love with hip hop all over again

They can be a bit hit and miss but I'l throw in a vote for Blue Sky Black Death Glaciers, gorgeous stuff from that and probably their best work since and up their with Late Night Cinema in terms of quality.

    Good question:)

I still do even if the rapping is a bit minimal, most of their other work and they produce a **** load of rap so it counts!
