Hi Eamon, cheers for the post.

I have loved the Yamaha YAS101 for a long time but the new Roth Sub Zero II for the same price as the Yamaha is the one to go for.

It has much better impact and slightly better clarity than the Yamaha but the extra features are well worth it. The Yamaha is a little light on the features and connections.

The Sub Zero original is a decent buy but the new II is well worth the extra £30.

Don't get me wrong, the Yamaha is a very capable bar but I personally would have the new Zero II for the same price.

You are quite correct. The TV should output anything from the TV to the bar by optical.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Dave

    Eamon,

apologies for the delay getting back to you - we have been pretty mental the last few days and I've been in and out and I'm just starting to try to catch up on mails, PM's and posts from earlier in the week, apologies!

The Roth Sub Zero II delivered to Dublin would be £149.95 + £12.95 shipping - £162.90 / €199.99.

The YAS101 ( I really like it!, dont mind what Dave says, but it doesnt have bTooth!) has dropped in price to £149.95 + £12.95 delivery = £162.90 / €199.99 as well!

Apologies again for the delay and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    ATVB,

    The RS Crew
