    How can I stick sugar decorations to a christmas cake without reaching for the superglue !!!?

    You can use water or egg white(I think). There's also edible glue which can be bought in cake decorating shops,

    If you're sticking decorations onto fondant, using a little bit of vodka painted onto your decoration will help it stick and when it dries it cant be seen on your cake, as opposed to water and icing sugar, which you can still see when it dries.

    +1 for the vodka that's what I use unless it something that requires serious stickage you might want the edible glue

    If you don't have edible glue, water will do the same job. Don't use too much though!
