Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Funnily enough, I just got off the phone with my Mam. There is a family dinner thing on down home on the 2nd so that means the 1st would be a no can do for me either.

    I am however completely free the following weekend, dunno how Pepe is fixed.

    By my reckoning it the only ones that voted for the 1st and not the following weekend are Panthro and D'Aggs.

    Obviously I wouldn't expect the date to be changed just to accommodate me but I was just throwing it out there seeing as there was such closeness in terms of the voting and that the 2 lads werent shoe ins as going due to the fact they arent based in Dubland.

    Id like to go as I havnt been to a Boards beers in ages but of course Im not going to disrupt other peoples plans either!

    On a serious note, my lady will be visiting me on the first so I may/may not make that night.
    If the dates change that's cool with me, I'll try and make the new date.

    I should qualify my statement, I like stout, specifically Guinness however having had a night on the Beamish just before Christmas, I'm not afraid to say my head has been turned a little bit.

    They also do a tasting tray of a sample of their 5 brews for €5.

    I've never met anybody here. I went to my first boards beers for a different forum a few months ago. It is a bit nerve wracking at the start but everyone is really welcoming and we had a great night.
    You would be more than welcome. Just give D'Agger abuse like everyone else and you'll fit right in :p

    We were all newbs at some point and most of us survived unscathed :pac:

    PM someone and arrange to meet them before heading to the main beers, it really helps settle the nerves.

    D'Agger you have to go to beers, it's your modly duty.

    I'm hoping to make this at some point, I'm out for dinner earlier but I'll pop in. It's a tradition to have tGC beers this time of year so I cant break the tradition.
