Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Armed Robbery At Newtownmountkennedy Post Office

    Newtownmountkennedy Post Office is CLOSED until at least tomorrow (Thursday 5th December) afternoon. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    If you know anyone who may be affected by this temporary closure, please let them know. The office should be open by approximately 13:00.

    Earlier today, Newtownmountkennedy Post Office suffered an attempted armed robbery. Nobody was injured and only a minuscule amount of cash was stolen. However, extensive damage was caused to the office counters and security windows. As a result, An Post have closed the office until repairs are carried out.

    Again, there were no injuries to any customers or staff. If you have any information or if you witnessed the incident, please contact your local Garda Station:
