Thought I'd get a thread going.

This genre has gotten more and more popular throughout the last decade, with the likes of Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky, This Will Destroy You and God is an Astronaut to name but a few. I find this music great when studying, and especially when there's little to no lyrics as is the case with Explosions in the Sky and so on.

Anyone know Salvatore? Great Norwegian band, sadly no longer active. Fresh is one of favourite "atmospheric / post rock" album, but its also very krautrock influenced:
