trying to figure out how this works, if I record the CV signal for pitch as an audio file can I use an akai s3000xl to trigger the ES-1? I could have notes mapped out on the akai so each key triggers a different sample that corresponds to a note for a modular oscillator.

I have 8 outputs and the ES1 has 8 inputs, there must be something nifty I can do with the akai, using it to trigger sequences, with everything in sync

I had a quick look in Soundforge at some files made in Reaper , I could draw the waves if I knew which does what.

What exactly do you want to do???

    You could just use midi.

Doesn't the ES1 have a onboard sequencer already...

thats the korg ES1 your thinking of, I mean this http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/es1.html

    CV is before midi

its a specialized niche, thought there might be a couple of people here that might know something

I dont want to convert MIDI to CV either, that can be done easily with a Doepfer module
