An easy enough one to sing at a family gathering! I think you need to put more energy into it than Elvis did.

Another version of my favourite. Grand Parents would be more familiar with this singers recordings, a pity we do not him on radio these days!

Yes really worth having a look and listen to this. Also nice to hear French accents on the site!

An Irish language song which I sang as a kid at a school xmas concert over 20 years ago, named "Fadó,Fadó".

Unfortunately, tis nowhere to be seen on the internet, and these are the only lines I can remember:

    "Gaoth bhog ag seoladh
    Trí crainn ológ
    Timpeall ar Bheithil
    Fadó fadó
    Caoirigh ar leirig sliabh
    Faoi gealach óir
    Aoirí ag faire ann
    Fadó,fadó."

As regards Christmas Carols, O Holy Night is my favourite (like a lot of people on this thread).

Christmas songs - I love so many of them but I really love "Driving Home for Christmas" by Chris Rea - always makes me feel very festive, especially when it comes on the radio when you are actually driving home for Christmas! :pac:

O Holy Night for me as well, absolutely love it.

    i love it too.

Newstalk did a great piece on it on Christmas Eve. I am delighted I happened to have it on in the car. Found the PodCast.

It is well worth a listen

This version doesn't do it justice. I think he's singing it much too fast.
After o holy night, I quite like o come all ye faithful.
