Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fair play to that audience bloke, obviously, we all think it's weird that a bloke loves Take That, but he cleary doesn't give a fiddlers what anyone thinks. A good quality.

I was sneery and cynical at the start, but the dude made me laugh (with him) by the end :)

Gary sounds wobbly, must be live!!......

Nah, he is probably half cut. You would be too if you had to sit in the green room with Jason Byrne and the Kosters.

I honestly think Take That are The Beatles of our generation.

Barlow has written some seriously great songs.

Watch this space 50 years from now.

Really desperate tonight, 2 songs from the one lad and some kid as a guest and yet another appearance from love/hate things to come

Surely they could've found a south african to fill a slot

I don't like him, he chose to be at a Take That gig when his wife could have gone into labour.

Wonder if people (not specifically you MrsD) would have cared so much if he went to a soccer match when his wife was eight and half months pregnant?

Btw, think Barry reacted well to Ryan's name gaffe

That's what a good guest does - answers the questions, keeps talking, a few stories, plays along with the audience, gets them singing along with his song.

    Seriously.

I think his songs will stand the test of time like The Beatles.

Gary Barlow - up there with Lennon and McCartney IMO

Cant see Gary upping sticks and heading to India smoking ganja and taking mushrooms = no chance he will end up revered like the Beatles

I suspect that story was exaggerated.

They were looking for TT's biggest fans on the LLS facebook page. He had to say something outrageous to get picked.

I shook hands with the good man in 1990 when he got the Freedom of Dublin.

He was very chesty and I had a small chat with him about taking care of his cough.

Imagine what I could have said to him....

    Seriously. True story.

I imagine if in 50 years you said you were at a gig of Lennon/McCartney/Starr/Harrison they would be teary eyed proud.

But if you said you were listening to an Orange music show, they'd call social services

Plenty of other countries we should boycott in modern day both in terms of trade and also of providing any aid to, countries where the government doesn't give it's citizens equal civil rights or where they spend billions on arms, nuclear weapons or space progams while their citizens die in the streets from lack of food.

Fair play to Mary and her colleagues. They finally received an apology from Ben Dunne a couple of years ago.
