    Just heard that the Post Office in Athy was raided this morning, anybody hear anything about it?

    Kildare fm website had this report

    At around 9.30am, a man burst in to the building and scaled the glass partition separating staff from the public.

    The around 15 customers queuing in the building fled, and staff locked the doors

    A second assailant, waiting outside on a motorbike, began beeping the horn and attempts may have been made to knock him off his bike.

    Both men fled on foot when the Post Office doors re-opened

    They stopped a silver-gold Peugeot, brandished a gun at the woman who was driving the vehicle, forced her out of the car, and sped off in the direction of the Kilkenny Road at 9.45am
