Connected to eFibre, Set up on wrong profile - getting 6.5Mb - Eircom unable to updat

    Hi there,

    I went active on eFibre 9am Weds morning - signed up for package upto 70Mb. Looks like I am set up with a 7Mb profile however as I am only geting 6.8Mb. The Modem is saying I should have an attainable rate of about 25Mb - I am about 1km from the Cabinet.

    I have been on to Eircom support 4 times already but they are unable to change my Profile for some reason. they said it takes 24hours, then 48 hours. It is now over 2 days and they still can't upgrade my profile. On top of this I was only told on my last call that the 1890 number Eircom gave me is 60c per minute - this after being put on hold for about 10 minutes each time I called - not a happy camper.

    Can anyone in Eircom help me -I will PM my details if you can assist.

    Can anyone assist with above - it has been 5 days since I had eFibre installed and I am still on a 7Mb profile.
