Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pretty much yes, but with a few caveats. Older PCs will have a VGA port (only) for outputting to a projector, newer laptops will have a HDMI port and possibly also a VGA port. All TVs these days have HDMI ports and some have VGA ports to connect laptops and PCs. So you need to make sure that the TV you buy and your laptop have at least one connector in common - either both VGA or both HDMI. The VGA connection deliver video only so you'd need a cheap audio cable to give you sound as well. HDMI is vastly preferable because the TV and PC can negotiate a suitable video resolution supported by both devices, with VGA you would have to do this manually.

This 19" TV in Power City seems to have all the connectors you'd need and it's within your budget at €140 .....

Technical description fro the Richer SOunds website on the same model...

In terms of connectivity, the LG 19MN43D is well equipped. An HDMI socket allows you to connect up to HD sources such as a Blu-ray player, games console or HD camcorder. Added to this, SCART and component sockets are on hand for older components. Then, of course, there's a PC input for your computer, making the 19MN43D ideal as a combined monitor and TV. The side-mounted USB socket is extremely useful for plugging in digital media devices and playing back music and pictures on your TV. Furthermore, the USB socket also accepts the DivX HD format, meaning that you can playback High Definition video using the socket, too.
