Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Class from Sterling there.

Normally in the situation Sarez would have scored !!!

Good work from sterling, wasn't greedy either. Perhaps on account of being scared of suarez

    Suarez annoyed with himself.
Always like to see that. Storm coming.

They'll have to come at us now so we should score a few more when the bus is removed. 3 nil.

Sterling showing signs. More miss than hit but he's working hard and showing glimpses of his good form from last season. Hopefully he can push on. It can be frustrating at times but he is just a kid, learning.

Sterling has been superb this half in fairness. Working hard too.

The one thing i love about Flanagan is that he's tough as old boots and not afraid to get hurt. Getting stuck in against those big black lads (not racist) is great to see!

Thought that was gonna be a FIFA last minute corner.

Great ball into Henderson, wonderful work to create for Suarez, and working hard to track back. He has had poor moments too, but it's encouraging to see. Looks more like the Sterling of last season that excited us all.

Sterling showing signs of the player last season. Coutinho running the show. Entertaining stuff to watch

Central midfield has been a problem area this season, but Gerrard and in particular Allen have been very good so far today.

Liverpool the better team but we shouldn't have gone in behind. What on earth was Nolan thinking heading the ball back into the danger area.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Lucky goal, West Ham with the best chance so far but we have controlled the game fairly well and deserve to be in front.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

West Ham are defending and countering well. We'll need another as soon as possible if we're going to win this, I'd say.

they do look good on the counter

Allen really showing some good stuff. A player I always liked so hopefully hel continue to improve. Just love the way hes so neat and tidy.

Coutinho and Sterling have been excellent.

Sterling is so much better when he starts rather than when he gets lumped on when we chase a game.

    Negatives:

We need to upgrade Henderson. Great squad player but is very weak on the wing.

Jon Flanagan just not good enough for this level imo.

Glen Johnson has been poor again.

The story of our season so far is: Other team scores one, we fail to score, other team wins. I'd be surprised if we get one back. Especially with Nolan on the field. Think we'd be better with 10 men.

I think he has done very well since he came into the team . To me he doesn't look out of place anyway .

He tends to be anonymous until he hits his token shot into the stand.

Yes, he's really turned a corner.

Did skrtel not get a foot to it. This could be 4 or 5 now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Did Skrtel get anything on that?

    If he didn't it's just Sakho's.
