Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

RVP plays with Chicharito,Januzaj also starts with Vidic & Evans at centre back.
    Rafael at right back.
Nani also starts with Jones & Cleverley in midfield.

    No Valencia..........yipee.

    DDG,RAFAEL,VIDIC,EVANS,EVRA,NANI,JONES,CLEVERLEY,JANUZAJ,HERNANDEZ,RVP.

    Moyes team selection options:

    1.try fit everyone around rvp
2.try fit kagawa in even on left wing
3.try make people remember felaini is not bad
    4. Injuries make a fluke decent team

really don't care why everyone's selected, im just more optimistic then i was before the team sheet came out

Very good united line up and with rvp back I can't see anything other than a united win.

    3 - 0

Hope we aren't relying on the bench to bail us out only one on it that i'd have any hope and he hasn't featured for us yet

Watching BT's pre match coverage for the first time,

    Rio doing a cam diary.

    Magpies to stroll his one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,979 ✭✭✭Vurnon San Benito

Vurnon Anita replaces Shola Ameobi - he'll sit behind the midfield and try mop up everything. Looking forward to seeing it. Got pace on the counter, but RVP can do damage.

    Should be a good game!

7-0 United. Moyes to become king of Great Britain, cures all diseases and fix world hunger. This is the turning point. I can feel it.

That was a nice half & half scarf :pac:

I'm going for 3-1 United, hopefully with Nani or Hernandez being the first goalscorer for monetary reasons.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,231 ✭✭✭BNMC

Loving the BT Sport coverage so far but I fear Michael Owen will ruin all that once the game starts.

    3-0 United. Chico x2 Januzaj.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,039 ✭✭✭Theresalwaysone

Jones and Cleverley is the weakest midfield I can ever remember at United. Jesus. Two fullbacks who will make mistakes, wingers who wont work overly hard coming back.

    Newcastle to win.

    United to win, 3-1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,304 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Is that picture of Moyes beside the line up on BT his communion or confirmation photo?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

Would rather Zaha on the wing and Januzaj behind RVP or Hernandez.

Can see Newcastle don't have any fear coming to OT. The fear factor is defo gone for now when teams visit.

Need an early goal to settle the nerves tbh

One thing Utd shouldn't be lacking in midfield is energy with the Jones and Cleverly combo

Not a fan of early bookings that one had to be a yellow.

That's what I like about United fans, they always appreciate a bit of banter without taking it personally :)

United far too square across the middle of the park..... Newcastle will get plenty of the ball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,128 ✭✭✭✭Oranage2

United passing is terrible, tiote dominating midfield without actually having to do anything. United looking dangerous on the counter however.

Only the second united game I've watched this season so I didn't realise how bad things are . Fergy must be rolling in his grave.
