Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Newcastle will grow in confidence the longer it stays like this. For all utd possession Newcastle are soaking it up fairly comfortably.

Januzaj is our only shining light in an otherwise toothless performance.

Our midfield is beyond pathetic :(

United seem to be the worst imo, by a long shot

Good half that made it as difficult as possible for the Mighty Toon.

United are really looking like a 9th place team today. :/

Januzaj is a baller. A proper baller.

Newcastles extra man, and massive amounts of extra talent in the middle making it a counter attacking game for United... at home, ...against Newcastle. Jesus. Despair. Clev has been anonymous besides 2 decent passes and a shot. Jones has been crap.

Evra has been cack. Again. Just falls asleep.

Good points in Hernandez being decent and Januzaj looking like the key.

    Tiote been MotM so far.

Adnan the only United player who looks like he can make something happen.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

    Good half

Could do with upping the pace of the build up play a bit,Newcastle looking comfortable at the back.

Adnan is doing very well,be great to see Utd push back the Newcastle full backs in the second half and make them defend.

Why are you focussing on him and not Van Persie? Nani has put a couple of good crosses but naturally the Newcastle defence are able to deal with crosses better than RvP and Chico.

    ****ing awful match to watch

Adnan is the only one with any sign of confidence. It's like the rest of them are afraid of doing anything out of the ordinary. Theres just nobody at united now that will take the game to the other team. Barring Rooney and Adnan the rest seem to want everyone else to do the work for them

Utd solving their midfield problems by completely bypassing it.

Helps when he's not getting booked for consistent fouls!

I actually think Nani is one of Utds best players on the pitch so far, him and Januzai look dangerous.

Mate I apologize. I see the touch now, penalty I'm not sure and Chico made the most of it but yourself and Ginola may have a point

Think its an idea to ignore the ABUs, this season is all their wet dreams at once and they're going to a have a wind and a chuckle now and again.

This was most evident against Cardiff. Long speculative balls launched forward. Painful.

The only positive has been Janujaz. Going to be a fantastic player and already warrants a first team place.

Midfield isnt helped by the fact Clev is in there.
Not near Utd standard and never will be.

RVP not fit .Midfield is a joke again .Hard to see us will this .

I don't think he has been that bad. You are going to be getting involved in more collisions, tackles, whatever when playing in that role, or any midfield role really.

    And he has been booked.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,988 ✭✭✭SirDelboy18

    - Midfield getting overrun but I don't think either Jones or Cleverley have been particularly atrocious, just the numbers.

    - Van Persie dropping deep and doing literally nothing, may as well not be there.

    - Nani looks sometimes good and sometimes awful.

    - Chico and Januzaj look threatening.

    - Remy was isolated for them so often. If they had a bit more belief or if they come to the realisation that we aren't that good then they could/should win.

    - Hard to be optimistic right now.

    - I hate match threads.

We can bang on all day about it, but there is no one else to go in there. I'd rather him atleast with an engine then Anderson sweating for a kebab twenty minutes in

Please do, if you don't have any facts to back it up, I don't see the point.

I agree about Ashley Young being one of the worst for it, and no United fan either supports that behaviour, if anything we have constantly derided him for it.

Just think there are plenty of teams guilty of it (Suarez and Gerrard for instance) and that no team should be tarred with that.

Anyway, let's NOT enjoy the second half ;)

Who is the biggest culprit at the back for the long ball, I noticed vidic doing it most often, really need to get Smalling back in the centre.

Worrying times for us. The team needs a complete rebuild I think. There's no drive or determination. Hard to see where the goal may come from. Too much dead weight, Evra and Clev in particluar. Will take some time before Moyes can turn this around. Difficult watching the team we love at the minute. Come on lads!!!!

He's doing alright today. Its Jones, Nani, Evra and RVP that are playing poor. Watch the game will you

This is the longest I've seen Hargreaves on the pitch at Old Trafford without getting injured,he'll probably dislocate his shoulder by holding the mic.
