Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

laptop acting weird

    Hi all
    My 6 month old Packard bell laptop is acting up on me lately.
    When typing, some letters don't register and I need to hit
    the key again for them to appear. Ironic that it seems to have stopped doing this as I am typing this!! Well in gmail its a shambles.
    I just did a scan and there are no viruses.
    The other day it just went blank on me with the background light on
    I had to cut the power to it, take the battery out and reboot.
    I have windows 8. Don't know a whole pile about computers so any help
    appreciated. I was going to take it back to the store tomorrow for them to have a look at it so if anyone has any ideas for me to try out beforehand that'd be cool.
    I do get silly pop up messages about things to download to tidy the pc up.
    Don't know if this is of any relevance
