    I'm still convinced it will all be resolved before next Monday.

    However I've told my staff that if we have to close due to prolonged power outages they will be losing hours with no pay.

    It's a horrible situation.

    A number of businesses in my area have been approached about a campaign to not allow ESB Networks staff onto our premises if they strike. I'm not going a long with that but I believe a number if businesses are

    "Today at 4.30pm, the trade dispute between ESB Group of Unions and ESB management was resolved. The resolution is on the basis of the Union Mandate to protect the ESB Pension Scheme as a Defined Benefit Pension Scheme and to maintain existing agreements being fully met.

    "As a result the ESB Disputes Committee have confirmed that Strike Notice will be withdrawn."

    Good news it seems.

    Sounds like the ESB management caved in.
