Fantastic match. You have to applaud both teams for really going for it. Draw the deserved result.

    Should have won that. Disappointing.

Think draw was fair result. Not too disappointed. Disappointed not to go 7 clear but in the context of the game it was a good game and worth the point.

Best team arsenal have played this season so far, bar dortmund.

Happy enough with the draw, would have hoped to hold out for the win, or girouds shot to go in, but no shame in drawing that one.

    Well done Everton.

Be positive v Arsenal is the way to hurt them.

Martinez got it spot on today

A decent loan signing or 2 helps as well :p

Arsenal back down to Earth. Hopefully City can do further damage next week.

What a game, so memorable, from the electricity in the stadium after Ozil guided the ball into the net, to Deulofeu's lovely dipping goal and then Giroud's wonder shot that would have been incredible if it went in. Great match, fair result.

    Back down to earth?

We drew with Everton, its hardly a crushing result.

Why the man city love? There rivals to liverpool for 4th too.

I like that Earth is 5 points clear of the other planets.

If 5 points clear is back down to Earth, it shows how far we've come in the last year

    Of course.

    Martinez has to be applauded.

Lose one of their best playesr and a supposed great manager and they have actually improved, far more positive to watch.

    Great game

The current top 4 will probably finish the season in the top4, just depends on what order.

What the **** are you talking about "back down to earth"???

Bear in mind Everton have already beaten Man United and Chelsea and drawn with Spurs and Liverpool today's result just confirms that they are a damn fine side this year. No shame in Arsenal drawing with them although it is a bit disappointing considering we were 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go. A draw is a perfectly fair result. The absolute shyte you write at times is mind blowing.

    Liverpool fans shouting for Everton.

    Lol indeed.

Deserve has **** all to do with it tbh, we should be closing games out after going ahead like that.

Great game. Really impressed with Everton that they were able to back up their performance in OT with another great display here.Fair play to Martinez, he's got them playing some lovely stuff. Barkley should be starting for England in the WC as well if his form continues...fantastic prospect.

    Calm down lads!!

I'd imagine Arsenal would consider it points dropped being a home game.

With City away to come next week 5 points could be 2

    I wouldn't support Spurs, I'm not from London ;)

And if back to earth is extending our lead at the top, then let it continue.

Yeah, Arsenal had won what 6 in a row and then get a draw. It's a halt to a good winning run.

They lost to united 4 games ago, and won 3 on the bounce

and it's also not against the realms of possability you could lose your next 3.

    City away
    Chelsea home
    West Ham away

You could also win all 3 of course :)

Take it as a compliment that other fans want you to slip up, it means you are doing things right

Everton were superb. They could mount an outside title charge if they can keep it up. I see them finishing ahead of both united and spurs

I love the way Liverpool fans think they are relevant in the title race, probably lose 3 out of their next 4.

    They don't

Considering the fixtures that could well happen btw.

You happy enough with today's result?

not at all, you should be aiming to win all your home games, so i see it as 2 points dropped that will have to be made up somewhere on the road at one of the big 6.

Nothing like sky to hype the **** out of a young player who has a few games.

Coming up to Christmas and they are the nearest challengers. I think that counts as relevant. Sure who though arsenal would be up there. A fair few fans wanted wenger sacked and the team was booed off after the first game.

In fairness, Everton are a class side at the minute, playing like one of the big 6. Credit due to them, they nearly pinched it at the end as well. I will take the point for Arsenal and hope we can get a result at City.

I've 25 euro riding on Everton to finish ahead of pool this year, while I wouldn't begrudge Liverpool a cl spot I have to say I'd love Everton to get a top 4 place and hang on to lukaku

You should put a nice bit on it so, it's 2/1 Everton v's 1/5 Liverpool.

After the game today Arsenal have drifted slightly for the title, city favourites, with Chelsea back as 3rd favs. It'll certainly come from one of those 3.

Good player but as per usual the English media are blowing the ****e out of him instead of letting the kid knuckle down and get on with it.
