It will be interesting to see where this finishes at the end of the 6 month period. Like you, I would have preferred to assess a full year, because I to would be surprised if a worthwhile profit could be achieved.

Ironically the stats have been poor since the 100+ pm interest.

I make the return -23.4pts since that point. You had stated that you had up your stake to €40 per pts which leave a loss of €928 for the recent period.

Also if the 100 people who expressed an interest since then backed on average €10 per pts, the bookies would be richer by €23,400 !

Food for thought. Let's hope the blip ends and it turns around. I'll keep observing with interest.

Have to agree with howjoe 1, has the kid finally ended his run, been following this thread for a while, and can see his tally going only one way!!
He has given some great winners and anybody who has been lucky enough to be up, has to to be mad not to take to the mountains with there pot of gold.

Yeah Eugene I agree but to be fair to the kid he did admit to getting a great start, he also gave me his last few years stats and being up 123pts with two months to go told its own story.

As for me, it was a most enjoyable thread, I have only bet the horses on this thread since 9th December so am up a good few quid. We also have two decent antepost bets paid for from the bank. I would also like to add there are 38 days left so anything could happen. :eek:

Baron spells are inevitable and at the prices a few winners could easily arrest the slide.Its been a fascinating thread to follow although I havn,t been backing the selections regrettably.As long as he doesn,t alter his selection process during a blip he will be alright and I look forward to many more posts.Great entertainment (even the rantings of the few begrudgers who he seems to have seen off).

Fair play to the kid, I like the way he is disclipined enough not to be giving out bets willy nilly every day like some of the regulars here. BTW I have a tip myself for Aintree which if all goes well will mean I will be changing the car next week!

It seems that his bets have gotten gradually bigger with his good start to the year.
It seems long gone are the 1 point and 2 point bets from the start and average bet now seems to be 4/5 points.

Is it a fact that he feels he has more ammunition with the results that have went his way for the year. Or is he chasing his tail for the recent Barron spell.
Just an observation.

I have figured out the system. I only started following the bets since after Cheltenham which were all losers and then I missed this one as I wasnt on since late last night.
