Christmas dilemma - New Credit card

    Good afternoon all,

    I will be back in Ireland this Thursday from the middle east. I have being having a nightmare getting my new credit card before I go home. I received it today and it a chip and pin card which is fine however I will not get the pin for 10-15 working days and it will be posted to my companies address in the middle east.

    Will i still be able to purchase items (presents) in store in Ireland with a signature and ID (my passport)?

    There is no chance of me getting my pin before I get home.

    Not a chance! Purpose of chip and pin is it's more secure. And the key to the answer is in the questions - CHIP and PIN! You have to have the PIN.
