Missing money .How do i get it back

    €1000 has gone missing from my account. Bank say t was a cheque but i do not have a cheque book  nd havent hd one since Laser was introduced. But Bank cannot find a copy of this cheque ad ar fobbing me off. Where can I go now to get my money back.
