I'm trying to include more soya in my diet but want to avoid GM soya which I believe is everywhere and can have the opposite effect.

I've emailed a few companies and asked about their tofu etc but surprise surprise, they have not responded!

    I've googled but no joy.

I'm out of the country at the moment but will be back for Christmas to stock up on soy so can anyone recommend some non GM soya products and where I might find them?

    Thanks! :)

All Alpro soya products are GM free and they dont use soy beans from the Amazon rainforest either. Pretty sure they mostly come from France.

Its all there on the Alpro website anyway :)

Edit - Biona Tofu is organic and they dont use GM plants either.

I buy organic soya beans, like these ones: http://www.evergreen.ie/p/evergreen-organic-soya-beans/5391517062625 and have a serving of them a couple of times a week.
I've always assumed organic implies non-GM also, but does anyone know if it definitely does?
(I emailed Evergreen.ie to ask them also).

Quoting myself - Evergreen got back to me (super-quickly) and confirmed they are GM free.

That's great! Thanks a mill for the great answers. I went to open a carton of Blue Dragon tofu the other day but read the small print first. It's produced in the US so more than likely comes from that nasty Monsanto variety of soy bean that is pesticide resistant so gets doused in pesticides many many times. I only found this out recently. :o

    Thanks again! :)
