I'm looking to store a VW T2 camper indoors in Dublin or up to 60km around. Ideally it needs to be a proper outfit that specialises in this. The camper will be stored until around April, and it doesn't need to be started in that time, we also don't need access to it during this time.

I'd prefer a personal recommendation from someone who has experience of this, I've contacted a couple of names I found on this forum but they seem to eb outdoors or closed down.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks.

Try South East storage just north of Gorey. Purpose built warehouses which are kept dark and sealed from birds and the elements. I store my own camper there and it gets started every few weeks to keep things ticking over..

Another thumbs up for South East Storage. Caravan currently tucked up safe and sound!

Just wondering how much does it cost to store a Camper/Caravan for the winter (c. 6 months)?

I have 2000 sqm of warehousing space which is empty from November until June every year.
It is concrete floored, dry and secure.
Obviously some work would be required (Alarm, CCTV, Insurance etc) but just wondering would there be a business opportunity in it?

One place in Naas charges €75 per month for a car or small VW T2 camper, guy in Wexford €15 per week, both indoors.

I looked into it a few years back, hard to make money on it unless it's someone in your position with an empty shed 6 months of the year.

We pay €200 per annum to store our motorhome in Ratoath. Not sure how much you'd pay for indoor storage and if its short term then it's likely the owners would need somewhere for the rest of the year also.

Best of luck with it though. I'm sure it might be useful to some whose vans are in use apart from the winter.

Try 0864038824 - Out on the Dublin Meath border past Garristown - I understand they have some sort of outhouses on a farm - might be worth a query - they used to advertise on http://www.campervansireland.com/motorhomestorage.php but seem to have gone now.
