Interesting post on playrust.com. Some very cool ideas though will have to see how they are implemented. New building system being developed along with inventory and weaponry. Also deployable items so might see some defensive/offensive traps? The weapons system seems to be heading towards the dayz system a bit.

Bad news though. Next patch still weeks away.

Its understandable why they're taking as long as they are to get updates out in recent months. Obviously the code must be as badly written as they say it is, so its good that they clean that now and get into the habit of adding good code while the game is still in alpha. Hopefully when they've all this maintenance and crossover work done they can pump out updates as quickly as the DayZ team seem to be.

I really like the idea of having to manually load your clips, especially with the different kind of rounds they plan on implementing. Being able to feed your spare key to the pig sounds great !

Popped on the server for a hour or so. Seems decent even though I was lagging like mad!

I've a base built near small rad.. I managed to find plenty of Guns,Food and ammo so if anyone wants to check out the server you can camp there.
Just PM me and i'll tell you the password and location.

The 'laws' are no killing during the day, raiding only at weekends. I'm not enforcing these through the admin console, I have a prison built and I'm going to deputise some people to enforce them, then if people want to have a jail break they can. I'll pop out irregular airdrops.

There's generally a few on after work (~7pm).
