A Special Galway Christmas

    Hi all
    Some of my family are coming to Galway to spend Christmas week with us. They have been to Galway lots of times before and have visited most of the usual landmark sites but this will be the first time in Galway for Christmas!
    We intend to make it as special as we can as its been a rollercoaster year.
    So my question is; in your opinion are there any events, places to visit, things to do in Galway for that special Christmasy fuzzy feeling. So far we hope to catch the last day of the Christmas Market and Goal Mile in Dangan on Christmas Day. Ages range 5 to college teenagers.
