Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Utd look absolutely clueless.

I dont like having Rooney up front on his own. He tends to be way too isolated and out of the game when he s the lone striker. He is so much better when he has a free roaming role and he can influence the game

HAve both the United game and Bayern game on the PC here, absolute masterclass from Bayern in how a midfield should operate.

Smash the ****ing bank for Kroos,....

If Young had did what Kagawa did there he'd have got some abuse.

    Giggs and Young

    :(

Giggs cant find a United player tonight, cant track back, cant tackle. Needs to go home now

Giggs has been absolutely useless tonight...

It's hard to believe Utd are the home team here

Giggs is there for his mentality not for his body.

City back in it now, getting some passes together and pulled back a goal.

City have just scored. Silva. 2-1 now. Seems a better game than this one. :P

I dunno, there's a difference between trying something like that and totally failing to do simple things.

Uniteds play is pedestrian, Shacktar actually move the ball with purpose

I mentioned that earlier in the thread. He's just there for the obviously lacking leadership in the squad. Not doing much good clearly.

    This is awful yet again.

Moyes can't expect to keep fans onside while playing like this.

Jesus Christ Moyes has not a breeze

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,687 ✭✭✭Danger781

I think United just need to score once.. Then they'll breathe easier..

    Tensions are high at OT

Everything wrong with this team for all to see in the first 25 mins.

The central midfield is a joke against a team who will press high and have technical ability and pace, the midfield have no chance of getting a hold in this game given the qualities Giggs and Jones bring to the positions

Only a matter of time before Shaktar score.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

That spell at 20 mins by Brazil Shaktar was just a joy to watch, needed a goal though.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

You would nearly wonder if Rio is trying to throw the game...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,924 ✭✭✭wonderfullife

Shakthar not scared of United one bit. The aura is long gone.

Having said that they might live to regret wasting these golden chances. Can see United getting a scruffy set-piece goal or unconvincing 0-0 draw despite so far being the inferior side.

Have growing sympathy for Moyes, Fergie looking more like a crafty exit.

Completely deteriorating centre backs with Vidic and Ferdinand, complete void in CM.

Moyes needs time and money with this squad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,704 ✭✭✭Corvo

Are we sure United aren't in white tonight?

Seriously, how can Moyes survive in this job if we are going to be constantly shredded by the like of Everton, Newcastle and Shakhtar?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 755 ✭✭✭sea_monkey

    Kinda miss Rooney playng CM

I've never witnessed such a shocking drop in quality in a squad. The more matches I'm watching the more growing concern I have that Moyes is getting alot more stick then deserved here.

A squad that needs shattering and rebuilding

EDIt: Young case in point, for **** sake

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Sweet suffering mother Young. That should be in the net! PAss it to Rooney you ____

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,638 ✭✭✭deafroadrunner

    how did he miss that:eek:

The only good thing about United losing this game would be to hear what Mr Dunphy has to say tomorrow evening.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

This is painful, no other game plan but try to work a crossing position, hit a hopeful cross.

Pathetic use of the support line

    Young **** off
