No sign of the M6 buoy coming back online. It was pretty close to the center when it last reported at 12. Since then....nadda.

Is the system manifesting itself on a more widespread basis than expected? Gusts to 50kts right down the west and south west coasts so far. The recent movement of the Low looks a bit more erratic to the south than anticipated perhaps?

North Clare: Cloud lifting and the sky is lightening now. Fully expect a bit of blue sky at least in the next while. Still breezy but not too bad as yet.

The wind has gone here in North Mayo. Still raining with a gentle breeze...

    TT

The most intense burst of rain I've ever experienced just passed through. Perhaps from a small squall line forming behind the main area of heavy rain

Alas M6 we hardly knew ya.

Did they ever replace that other ocean buoy that went AWOL and washed up in SW England?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,160 ✭✭✭✭Oscar Bravo

For those reporting the wind has calmed down in west mayo etc etc it is the calm before the storm....by around 6pm winds will getting very strong ,much stronger than this afternoon.

Lots of ESB faults popping up across the country and the main event hasn't started yet. get the fire on and the candles out of the box

That was a very fast squall line passed through Fermoy, really brightening up now and almost a glimpse of clear skies.

Jobs announcement in my work place in Dublin City Centre at 4. Think that shower is going to form a lovely backdrop for us.
