Seems there's quite a few power outages.

Several in West Cork (Kinsale and Clonakilty), one North of Cork City at Whitechurch.

There's also one in Dungarvan and another in Foynes.

Id say a calm period from about half 11 / 12 looks likely .

We've just set off on the Stena Rosslare to Fishguard ferry, they've warned of an unpleasant crossing and all the drink bottles just fell off the shelf in the cafe. But I'm more concerned for driving along the M4 and over the severn bridge later this afternoon.

Could you video some of the crossing or photos so we can see how bad it is? Only if you have time and up to it, sounds crazy out there. Safe journey

6z GFS broadly similar to 0z if not another slight downgrade in intensity.

    - So things have not gotten any worse overnight.

Yes slight downgrade on the 06z

Yep no real change. Hi res models will probably be of more use now anyway.

I'd imagine that will probably be less threatening by the time we get to Friday.

Hi all. Planning to travel to Dublin from Galway either today or tomorrow, depending on weather. What would you recommend? Thanks in advance :)
