Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't say I didn't tell ya's. The 21s would beat most senior teams.

In fairness, Roscommon shat themselves in the first half and Dublin took full advantage. Beat most senior teams though? Don't lose the run of yourself Slattsy! :pac:

A plate of BBQ chicken wings, 1/2 pound of Angus beef burger and chips, washed down with 2 strawberry milkshakes. Hangover food tastes so good. But I am now flaked, stretched out on the couch. No out for me tonight. Must digest this food.

No it's not. Had one a couple months back. Must have been a 3000 calorie meal but hey, it's not often I pig out. Had a lot of sauce last night. And the only cure for that is a big feed served up with ice cold strawberry milkshakes. Food of the gods. Needed a pick me up after kingman gave me a firm kick in the goolies this afternoon :)

I apologize in advance for the after timing but I'm hoping at this stage there's enough cred to do it...I always hope that when I really hit the big winnings im at the racecourse..
I had all winners at the punchestown on Friday except for jezki..I closed off The season with my biggest winnings ever to a scenario where I offered to bring my Missus, young lad and my mam in law away to Espana for a week in a plush hotel and my Missus can't go because of her business..I'm no way close to big time like many posters on here are but to know I bet the bookies on the second last day of the season I feel like I accomplished something! May the good times roll..I'll be a little quiet during the summer except when Peter Bowens horses run.

NFL draft week, thought it would never come

Ladbrokes now betting over/under 74.5 McCarron. Over/under 140.5 Michael Sam. Both have moved up again from last time I checked

    Big punt on Liverpool

    1.43 into 1.35 on Betfair

    2.06 into 1.847 -1.5 with Pinnacle

Anyone read any books on how to count cards or different strategies?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,016 ✭✭✭Hulk Hands

I might be counting my chickens but the draft looks like an absolute license to print money so far. Backed a 2s shot this morning that I can arb with a 3s shot! Backed a 4/7 shot that should be 1/16 in addition to Colonels bets and a few more. The lads sticking these up couldnt price a loaf of bread

Just checked the decs for Chester on Wednesday. PP have Bright Approach priced up at 11/4 for the Cheshire Oaks. Form of her easy maiden win is working out great with the 2nd Be My Gal winning a listed race on Saturday against older fillies and the 3rd place Talmada winning a maiden easily by 7 lengths at York. Bright Approach ran green on debut and was well on top at the finish with plenty of scope for improvement i thought she would be more of a 6/4 shot then 11/4. PP are nr no bet and im sure this filly is going to go off shorter on Wednesday afternoon. Worth having a look at her maiden win if any of you get a chance.

To be making much profit on arbing Hulk I assume your on Betfair? Bookies would surely be wise to this and plant restrictions on your fairly quickly

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,669 ✭✭✭Colonel Sanders

    Do tell!

    The 4/7 shot is gone

The 2/1 is Johnny Manziel 1st QB drafted. Was only with Betfair Sportsbook tho & the max stake wasn't very big

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,016 ✭✭✭Hulk Hands

Backed the 2/1 Manziel with Boyles a few times and had a nice wedge in shops this morning, which they chopped after it was rang through. Can arb at 3s with a US firm. Not sure if I will. Have Clowney for the 1st pick at 13/8, theres still value in the current 1/2

Hah I know only to well, ive been closed by 2/3rds of the ones on oddschecker. I rarely arb these days, usually just try to back movers.

Id assume everyone has a betfair at this stage?? I rarely use betfair exchange though, as its usually the right line, and I dont like paying 5% commision when im getting no advantage

Tre Mason over 45.5 is a bet also with ladbrokes. Theres been a rick a day cropping up for weeks

    Looks like being landed

In fairness to pool if City win the league at least they'll have messed up vs the 3rd place team. Look at the motley crew who've taken points off Chelsea in 2014

Edit: spoke WAY too soon! Pool has been 1.01 to lay

Btw any idea what happens if Michael Sam isn't drafted?

Is it a winner, loser or void?

Yep I know that one well. Its a great site for info and his draft stuff is good. But generally hes a clown. He mainly does NFL picks (bets) during the regualar season and is a good example of how Americans know absolutely nothing about gambling. But yeah, Manziel at 4 looks to be a good consensus

Winner winner chicken dinner. You can hedge that bet out at 12's on betfair sports if you so wished, although i'll pay you the money myself if it doesnt win its that certain

That line was already out to 49.5 I think when you posted it. I didn't do it fwiw.

Have an awful feeling City might bottle this, either tonight or Sunday...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

Think Joseph has chosen the wrong horse in the Dee stakes and Century is a very good bet at 4s especially with 3 places e/w

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,669 ✭✭✭Colonel Sanders

Market's saying Manziel is 1st QB to go. Strangely some of the associated markets aren't picking it up.

Ladbrokes still betting as you were on his position

Michael Sam line is now 152.5 (and over is favourite) & the McCarron market's been pulled

Hulk or others, if you've a strong opinion on Johnny Manziel's draft position there's a 100% book on

    10/11 under 4.5 with Ladbrokes

    11/10 5th or later (i.e. over 4.5) with Skybet

    Evs first QB picked

First QB I will say yes but if the Texans don't take Clowney first they are fools. Players of his Calibre don't come around to often. Plus I don't think they need a QB as much as others. I think if the jaguars or the rams don't take manziel which is a possibility, I have a funny feeling the browns are favouring Bortles.
