Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Took the Mrs out for dinner. Why? Because she's worth it. 12 oz top sirloin with veg all dente. All washed down with as much Appleton #7 as the waitress would dish out. Am bollix'd. Time for bed me thinks.

I just saw the ads but looked like a how do we get our 10 siblings into the fame game.

TV3 have the worst ones, I might pitch a show the crisp buyers, where people recall stories of buying crisps.

The way things are going in 3 years there will only be reality tv shows on telly.

My squeeze Suzi and I were in loike Searsons and feeling hungry when Suzi being Suzi ordered 2 packs of Tayto, I chortled we are in Searsons Suuz, she said I know and oim hungry.

Anyway the hired help said we only sell King Pub crisps, I was morto and said we are in Searsons Suuz. Suuz said I forgot they only sold King pub crisps, that was probably the funniest moment of our loives.

Tune in to TV3 next week for our new show, Penny's fashion mishap's which is a mash up show about fashion mishaps and misplaced apostrophes.

    3) The lads got me a lap dance off the best looking stripper
    4) The lads paid for a table dance from 2 crackers who spent the whole time 10 inches from my face seriously lessing off
    5) One of my mates gave me the heimlich manouvre and saved my life
    6) Barcelona beat Man Utd in the Champions League final pissing off my best man
    7) My groomsman was pissed off as he was chatting up a stunning German and when she found out it was my stag came over and begged me to bring her back to the hotel, she promised me the best night I ever had and told me I could do whatever I wanted to her. Oh what could have been

Have any of you driven an american suv? My f/ing god. Have the loan of a Nissan Durango SUV since I joined the scattering and decamped Ireland. Its like driving a sofa with 4 wheels and giant springs on it. I'm about 20feet off the road bobbing around and feeling like I have no control of the vehicle. Oh, and its got more blind spots that Helen Keller, I nearly mowed down a jogger when trying to pull out of the accomadtion block this morning on my way to work. Pile of shaize. Need to get myself a car quickly before I do damage to myself or others.

You should try driving one in america, they are actually enormous!

I was hoping to get my hands on a Chevy Tahoe but none left.
They are bigger than everything we have here!

I'm actually over that neck of the woods, well south of the states but its a us SUV, it is a monster but the handling is diabolical and the blind spots means it was obviously designed for driving in straight lines. It looks the dawgs but is, in practical terms, crap. Plenty of Tahoe, escalantes and explorers etc here so comparable to this awful yoke in terms of size.

6 hours behind yee so don't we shocked by my late dining. Just did a 5 mile walk. Hungry as hell. All that talk of mexican food got me thinking. Chicken fajitas. Just prepped strips of chick, dumped into a paprika, cumin, chillie powder, salt and lime. Have to wait 25mins for that to soak up. Next the guacamole, avacado, garlic clove, chillies, scot bonnet and lime into the mixer. Stuffing those into a wholemeal pitta bread, all washed down with ice cold beers.

Red wine with red meat, white wine with white meat fish. Prosecco was consumed because we had run out of our pre (G/vodka&T) and post (whiskey/brandy) dinner spirits.

With world cup concluding today and Killarney on tomorrow (good pointer) I'd suggest the perfect time to open a thread imo

No issue with starting a Galway thread, especially when we're talking antepost.

The Cheltenham antepost threads start in November, for example!
