To be honest there are plenty more races matching your description but this is the most recent I could think of. Matched at 1000 on betfair

Wasn't either of them afaik, he came from about 10+ lengths off the back to win it.

I'm sure no one here does listen or follow BornetobyWilde on his tips in this forum or the gambling forum but he has been deleting and editing posts for a while now(after his tip loses). I've pointed it out to mods.

This is just a word of warning to take no heed of his 'inside word from the yard' lark.
I know it's not the end of the world but it really frustrates me that someone somewhere might be putting a euro or two down based on information he is clearly fabricating.

Ya I've seen this Craic going on for awhile now deleting tips that don't come even close to winning the ban hammer would want to come out for this carry on.

Agreed. Mods are too harsh on posters winding people up or even talking nonsense in discussions but there is no place for lies/back tracking aftertiming on this forum

Just after reading the John Oxx stable tour on ATR, Michael D Higgins has an unraced 3 yo Pivotal filly with him. My opinion on him has improved quite dramatically!

Jesus Hugh Taylor and Gary O Brien are on some hot run lately. Taylor got 2 out of 2 today and Gary chipped in with a winner with his only pick. I dont follow them often particularly as the price evaporate so quick but still some going lately,

Think Everton, Villa and Hull treble looks very good today.

Add WBA for a nice 16/1 accum.

Would like to see Newcastle go down.

Another double for Hugh Taylor today. Lycidas advised 9/1 SP 8/1 and Yorkshire Dales advised 8/1 SP 5/1.

    This looks a steal.

The legend that is Steven Gerrard is 7/2 with Betfair to be sky sports MOTM today. Next best price is 7/4 with William hill.

    Remarkably difficult to find.
Go to Football / Specials, then within that you'll eventually find a 'Gerard Anfield Farewell' section.

To be substituted against Palace 1/4
    To be booked 15/8
To score a set piece 3/1
    To cry on camera 5/6
    Man of the match 7/2
To score and kiss the Camera 8/1
    To miss a penalty 16/1
To announce he isn't leaving 16/1
    To Be Sent Off 20/1
To Score an Own Goal 25/1
To thank Jesus in his Speech 33/1

Only one I was interested in was MOTM. Tried €20. Told max = €0.13. Decided to keep it gentlemanly and not go for max. Tried €0.12. Told MIN = €0.13. Took that! Be the most satisfying (and worst hourly rate) €0.45 I ever win! :D

Go to the bookie office. Hand over cash. End of problem.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,016 ✭✭✭Hulk Hands

It's betfair sportsbook unfortunately. We're stuck in this country with only 3 bookies shops really

Excellent shout. I put it in a docket against my will! Looked exposed and previous form poor enough. I suppose it was dropping in ratings and the break obviously did no harm.
I got word for Get Home Now in the 3.40 MR. Few bob for it too. Hopefully that comes in to make a nice double.

One I backed last time out, Sleep Easy, being backed early doors in the 7.00 at Sandown tomorrow.

Same connections (and uncannily similar profile as a 2yo) as Arab Dawn and if he improves to anything near the same level as that one he will be winning this. Yard also had Atalan improve in a big way on his second run back yesterday and also won this last year with another very similar sort in Vent De Force.

Jembatt has been given a big chance by the handicapper and is now 15lbs below the mark he won a good race at Tipp last year off and is down to his lowest ever. Ran a nice race returning from a break last time at Naas faring better than the bare result having travelled quite well but he's entitled to improve with fitness. 14/1

I thought you were going with Little Arrows. Seems to be well in, pulled the last day, will like the ground and a big claimer on board.

18 runner handicaps always come with their risks. Looks like he'd have gone very close if not for a shocking ride.

Nothing can be done about that. Touch wood there'll be one Tuesday

If that's the way all 12/1 shots we back run them we won't be long cleaning up. Unlucky.
